CSC processing date shows EAD/AP as Oct 1st, since yours is Oct 1st, I think you can call USCIS and check the status, that way we will also get some idea.

Mine is ND 10/07, If I call they will tell we are processing 10/01, you have to wait for some more time.

EAD and AP - have not come so far-RD-Sep 28-2005

I still have not received the EAD and AP.

My 140/485/765/131 - RD is Sep 28, 2005
My 140/485/765/131 - ND is Oct 3, 2005

One thing is that when I check the status online it says the application was received on October 3 (which is the notice date) - but all my actual applications receipts from INS all say Sep 28th - can one of you confirm if thats the case when you check case status - thanks.

Dont know when I will get the EAD and AP. I see people with RD Sep26th have received but I still havent see Sep 27th or later - please correct me if I am wrong.

My received date as per notices is sep 30 and ND is 10/07

online status says received on 10/07, but that is ND .

all other centers are issuing EAD/APs for ND after 10/01, but only from CSC noone got the approval.

Same here, But good news is AP for myself and mywife is approved just yesterday. I checked yesterday online but it was received. Then again, this morning, It said approved. Approval notice mailed.
So, It is so surprising but yet I am waiting for EAD. In my earlier post, I wrote about my RD/ND etc..

Strange email from USCIS

Hello Gp111 and gurus,

I got a strange email saying that

"On November 8, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued."

What does this mean?
On Oct 28 i updated my new address on all my petitions with USCIS.


Before this email on Oct 29 i received this email for me and my wife with this message

"This case has been approved. On October 29, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

Bottom Line : I didn't receive mine or my wife's AP approval notice yet even though online message says it was approved on Oc 29. I am checking both the postal address new and old everyday

I have been reading this form from some months. U r so good at giving advices.. I really need some help.. Me and My wife both got the EAD in August. Now can i start a company on my wife's name? Is it neccessary to have a green card holder in the company? What are the disadvantages if GC person not there? Can she work for the same company? Thank you..
 
means your AP was posted on nov 8th.

For AP, the 2 messages are "case approved... " followed by "document we made ... "

For EAD the 2 messages are " card ordered" followed by "card mailed ... ".

In both cases, actual doc is mailed only when the 2nd email is issued.

This is standard message update when you change your address. You will receive a notification at your new address about confirming address change.

AP takes few days / weeks to arrive after approval, so just wait little more.

Yes, You can start your company in your & you wife's name. You can own the company but cannot work for it unless your Job is same/similar there, I-140 has been approved & 180 days passed to your I-485 RD.

No, There is no such requirements. You can own a company on any Visa OR Without Any Visa. I own two companies since 2nd year of my H1

Can she work for the same company?
Yes, If she can work for that or any other company ( as she is dependent not the primary applicant)

AP not recieved

AP is approved for myself and my wife. I got mine last week, so far I ahven't got the hard copy for my wife. Today i treid calling NSC customer service 1800 number. Automated message asks to write a letter to the issuing office. is there any way i could get a human on the line? I think my issue was my wife's name was not there on my post box, so they returned it back. So if they mail it agin I should get it.
Please advice
