Update on CT SESA

Hi,

Just talked to CT SESA. The person said - they are processing April 27,2001 currently. So they are left with April 30, 2001 only after this, as April 28, 2001 and April 29, 2001 were Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Can someone else ask CT SESA next week? Their number is (860) 263-6020.

Please ask only one question: Could you please tell me which date is being processed currently? If you ask more you will get all sort of answers but not the date.
 
CT Status Checks

Hi All,

1) Please add the information below for CT SESA tracking purposes....

XYZ - CT PD is 4/30/2001, RD @ Boston DOL is 22nd June 2002
ABC - CT PD is 8/24/2001, Waiting for CT update

2) CT is currently processing cases received in last week for april. Even though they process based on the PD's, it usually has a wide range which for CT is April 25-30, 2002. Range of cases being processed @ Boston DOL is "Feb 2002-June2002".

3) Please try to avoid calling SESA, since the person who answers your call is the person who does the processing. His/her time is best utilised in processing cases.

4) It would be good if one person in the group takes an initiative and calls SESA once every 2 weeks. Please avoid too many calls to SESA.

CT SESA update!

Dear All,

CT SESA have updated their website as on Aug 6. The current date they are processing for RIR as per that remains April 30, 2001.

CT SESA dates are little confusing. Don't go by dates on web-site - they are doing 27 and 30 April 2001 - that is for sure.

They have entered data for atleast Sept/Oct 2001. Sunray, what does it means in real sense?

VKML and visitors,

What is your PD? Also it will be great if we have more people pouring in their data. So, please viewers-post your data. It will help all of us. If you shy away then we will not be able to make any sense on the progress of CT SESA. And as you see the dates on web-site is not reliable. We need to co-operate for knowing what is happening. Give it a thought - Won't it help?

Hope to see more entries in our list.
 
My lawyer told me that my case was filed on 11/25/01. I do not know What does PD stand for.

Any clue when will it get processed?

PD stands for the priority date. Time can be predicted only when April 2001 gets over in CT SESA. Currently, they are processing between April 27, 2001 and April 30, 2001.

Zenman - your's is next. What does your lawyer says on issue?

Its good to see some acitivity going on, in this forum. There's no good news from my lawyer. Frankly, speaking I am feedup!

I'll try and knudge him sometime late this month. Hopefully, I'll get some update then.

Meanwhile spread the word............ I know its difficult.

We should be hearing some encouraging postings from Jaye and Avipin soon. Guess what, I'll be the next to do so :p

Came to know that CT SESA is working on April 27, 2001 and April 30, 2001 cases.

From what I feel - CT SESA is almost close to completing April cases and should be done with it anyday between Aug 15, 2002 and Aug 30, 2002. (Calculating the time taken to reach April 27, 2001 from April 2, 2001).

After that things will indeed be faster after that.

Avipin and Zenman - I hope you will drop a message before leaving for Boston DOL. :)

Does anyone knows the PD of Jaye by any chance?

Something to notice!

Hi Guys,

I notice from the Boston DOL region forum, Page (9) that

>> Smeyyur applied in CT SESA in May 2001 and this moved to Boston DOL after seven months!
>> This would mean that Smeyyur's LC was cleared from CT SESA in December 2001!!

By the above logic , many RIR applications made in May/June 2001 might have got processed by April 2002. After this date the roll back happened.

Is this true!!!
 
That is right Yeswe. Before the roll-back, dates were middle of July, 2001 with CT SESA. So when the date moves ahead, they will move to atleast July/August 2001.

The other part of story is that CT SESA is perhaps not transferring applications to Boston DOL, perhaps they have worked even further down from July 2001(till Sept/Oct, 2001 - as they have entries for these months in their computer.). But that will have a load in Boston DOL when it send all together!!!
 
I will post when my case moves to Boston. Last time I called CT state department ( which was 4 months ago), and was told that my case would move in July. But it has not yet moved. Hopefully any time soon now. As few people have written that as soon as CT cross April 30, 2001, it will move faster. Lets hope for the best. Good Luck everyone!

Hi All,

Talked to CT SESA today(Date: Aug 16, 2002). They are working on April 30, 2001. It took almost 10 working days to clear one day's application.

So let us hope they will be able to complete another day(April 30, 2001) in another 10 working days again. By this measure, we will be able to see the dates moving by end of August or at the most first week of September.

Avipin/Zenman - can you ask for your case status in CT SESA, say in last week of August? This way we will come to know of dates being processed too.
