CT SESA moving... Is it?

Hi All,

Found something for you all. SMILE - CT SESA seems to be moving.

Go to http://www.ows.doleta.gov/foreign/times.asp - this is web-site of OWS. This page is updated in June 2002 and states RIR date as June 2001 and non-RIR Mar. 1999.

On the other hand - http://www.ctdol.state.ct.us/progsu...en-priority.htm was last updated on April 30, 2002 and perhaps so gives April 30, 2001 date.

Seems lazy bums in CT SESA are not used to of changing dates.

Moral of the story:

Do not call CT SESA like I did almost every week.

Ask right person the right question - Ravan can answer you and not Vibhishan! Cheer up!!!

I would appreciate if seniors can throw light on which on is better to trust!

Pour in your idea.

Hi,

First of all - I would appreciate if more of us would contribute to forum more actively rather then being silent visitor - it helps in undrestanding common ground.

I was going through other forums - typically NJ labor - their concern is same as ours - typically laborpained and usapal. (Go thru pages 17-20). I would like to put forward their idea that we should also write to our senators - Chris Dodd and Joe Lieberman. The issue is simple - people who abide by law suffer and people who are illegal immigrant enjoy. They can apply 5 days before last date and still get a first rated treatment for not paying taxes and staying in US illegally. People like us suffer due to them and loose 5 months. Interestingly both are Democrats and typically democrats are more in favor of openness in immigration.

Also take note of the Circular by Commisioner Zieglar about turning down of application in RIR cases. Sooner or later - it is going to happen. It will be worse as people will go back 2-3 years on labor itself. In this situation - these senators can be of our help.

Your suggestion is welcome.

Good Idea

It is really good idea.

First we have to make a draft letter to senators and keep in this
thread. Then the people can forward that letter with thier name.

It is pretty good idea, maybe it could at least draw some attention to the effeciency of labor department...
But since we cannot vote, I donot know how much attention the governor gonna give us. Doesnot hurt to try.

Any Update

Hi Guys,

What is the latest on CT SESA. Which month are they processing now?

Boston DOL is going at great speed!

Looks like they moved into May. All my friends cases of April 30 are forwarded to Boston DOL... Hope CT will go fast from now on...

Jaye

I thought CT SESA was processing June 2001 last month. Are you talking about RIR or Regular.

Sun Ray Can you guide please?

Hi Sun Ray,

Can you guide as how to find the dates of processing? Whenever I call CT SESA - there is only one person recving the call and he is not co-operative at all. Is there any other way out? Also are those in CT working on RIR?

SUNRAY

Thanks for the good news. Do you know when they will start with post April cases? Hopefully there won't be too many cases pending after April..

Let us Track May/June 2001 PDs

Sun Ray - thanks for the information.

Is there anyone in this forum whose PD is May/June 2001. Please come forward and post your details. We can at least know by tracking these whether there is any movement at all in CT SESA.

My PD is in the end of June. Obviously, I have heard nothing yet. Will keep everyone posted if I hear anything.

Welcome Zenman

Hi Zenman,

Welcome to the thread. Do you have any idea which date is CT SESA stuck with? What is your date/year and category?

We need more partcipants here!!!

Thanks Zenman.

So far we have......

Zenman June 2001
Winnie33 Dec 2001
Jharkhandi Mar 2002
Yeswe Apr 2002

We need more members in this forum to come forward and provide the details. Particularly those who have filed in May/June 2001.

Please participate and share any information you have......

Jharkandi and Yeswe

Hi Jharkandi,

Last time (2.5 weeks ago) I spoke with my lawyer, he said CT DOL is still working on April last weeks cases.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get accurate information.

My info is: PD=June end 2001, RIR.

Think the Yeswe has a good idea. After all if CT DOL is so loaded with applications, we should have enough people joining us to reasonably estimate dates on our applications.

Hope we have more people pitching in their experiences and info.
