Conditional Green Card or Not?

I've received my Permanent Resident Card today. Its date of expiry is two years from the date I was granted adjustment of status by the judge (Feb 26).

My attorney had assured me that if we get granted adjustment of status AFTER a two-year period had passed since the date I got married, my status would be non-conditional.

I was married on Feb 2, 2007. I was granted adjustment of status by immigration judge on Feb 26, 2009.

My attorney keeps telling me the card is non-conditional, so how does it expire on Feb 26, 2011? Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks!

If it expires in 2 years, it's likely a conditional card. Does it have "IR" or "CR" on it?

Your attorney sounds like an idiot. If it's a CR, you'll want to get it changed. Merely pretending it's a 10-year card is likely to cause all sorts of problems down the road.

It reads CR6

Well, in NYC I've gone through about half a dozen immigration attorneys and I am glad this one didn't just screw me out of money like the others. Thanks for the response!

What is your class of admission on the card? Does it start with a "C"? Please quote exactly what it is on the card.
