AP approved 12/03.Online status not updated.
Waiting for EAD..

Details
I-140 RD - 06/25 (EB2)
I-485,EAD,AP filed with I-140 receipt - 09/13
RFE I-140 - 10/15 (Company's ability to Pay)
Reply Rec. 11/20
I-140 approved - 11/26
FD Done - 10/24
AP - 12/03

Another employee from my company with just one day ahead of
in all the above dates got his EAD day before. Hopefully I will
see my EAD in mail today !!
 
Hi guys. I dont know what the heck is going on but looks like the INS is slowing even more. Even my 140 status says 210-240 days. SO this means it will take 7-8 months just to get 140 approved officially.

Also 485 has gone up to 14-15mths. This is so painfully long.

M2002. Any news buddy !!!!!

My I140 also states the same thing"210 to 240" days. I am not too sure about what is going on. It looks like things are getting slower than becoming faster.

First I140 use to be 60 90 days then it became 120 to 150 now 210 to 240.......god knows what is going on at NSC.

Lets hope that we get our approval soon.....I will keep you updated my friend.

Need help

Hi Everyone,

Iam going to file my 1140 & 485 together. In regards to that i have some questions on form 485. I really appreciate if anyone helps in this matter.

I got h1 extension thru one company and went to india and did the stamping in chennai madras

After 6 months back from india i joined another company and i got another H1. Using that h1 stamping was done in U.S.A.

On Form 485 page 2 part 3 section.

1). Were you inspected by a U.S Immigration officier (Yes or No?)
2). consulate where VISA was issued (which one i need to mention chennai or state department)
3). What status did you last enter (H1-B or Temporary worker?)

And also on PAGE 1 PART 2 what i need to check for my spouse.
a or b ?.

Hey M2002,

Do not worry. In my company, 2 people applied for I 140 3 weeks back and the message said for them the same as yours. But they got their approval yesterday and day before.

It is taking only 2 weeks for I 140 approval.

This is what I did on my I-485 :

1) Were you inspected by a U.S Immigration officer :- Yes

2) Consulate where VISA was issued :- Chennai/DOS (It doesn't make a differance)

3) What status did you last enter :- H1B1

4) And also on PAGE 1 PART 2 what i need to check for my spouse.
a or b ?. :- It is 'b'

Could you give us more details on the I140 filing for these 2 people (RD, ND, AD, EB2 or 3, RIR, COncurrent or CP? etc)

Thanks sachdev & sashi. I have one more question regarding socail security no for spouse on Form 485.

She has Taxid no, can i specify that or mention n/a.

Experts,
Can you tell me one thing based on the present train of AP/EAD approval?

My I140 get approved 31st Nov.
My AP/EAD, ND 11/20.

When I can expect my EAD/AP may get approved. I have not applied for AP/EAD at the same time I applied for I-140.

Hi All, I don't know when my concurrent application was sent to INS but, the checks were cleared yesterday.

I took the numbers that are printed on the checks and tried to check the status online and AVM. Both AVM & Online status say that there is no case with these numbers.

Applied for I-140/I485/EAD last month
All the numbers start with LIN-030-466-0xxx

Is anyone having the same numbers or in a similar situation?

I wud guess that the LIN number u are entering is wrong..

cross check those numbers and try it on the website.

i wud guess ur numbers shud be something like
LIN-03-046-5XXXX


SO cross Check...Please note that I am guessing....
 
EAD & AP Approved

Hi,

According website I found my EAD and AP is approved.

Here are details as it is a Concurrent Filing for all the document

RD : 10-16-2002
ND : 10-28-2002
FP : 12-05-2002
140 Approved :12-05-2002
AP Approved :12/11/2002
EAD Approved :12/12/2002

Congrats MNew. This is great news.

I am a little perplexed at the processing times. INS says it takes between 7-8 months to apporve 140's but in MNEW's case they approved it in couple of months.

I am not sure how they process cases. Do they go in order of LIN numbers or do they just do it in random.

My RD is OCt 16th and ND is Nov 1st. But still same message.

Guys if any one knows how INS processes the cases please share it with rest of us.
 
I 140 in 1 month approvals

As I told earlier, in my company 3 guys have got their approvals

EB3/RIR

RD - OCT 30th,AD - DEC 10th
RD - OCT 21st, AD - NOV 28th
RD - OCT 21st, AD - NOV 27th.

Another girl is waiting for approval.

her RD - NOV 19th. Yet to get approval. Will post after her I 140 gets approved.

I feel the maxm time the INS takes to approve is only 3 -4 weeks.
