Concurrent filing 140/485 Tracker-CSC

I-140 still waiting

RD on i-140 21 oct 03 and still waiting. Mine is concurrent filing. I saw few cases in same date range got approved even though BCIS website shows that they are processing Aug cases. any clue on this mystery ?

Hi Guys,

Finally the good news came in today, I485 got approved after few days of I140 approval and this long journey comes to an end. This forum has been a great help and i appreciate everyones effort to help others and i hope it will keep on going. Many thanks to Mr Rajiv for running this great forum

No updates on I140/485/131/765 yet. Any idea when can we expect updates ?

My LUD on I-485 changed today but there is no change in status,no RFE.The online status still says that FP is received and process has resumed on my case.
Any body had similar experience??? or know why LUD is changed?

9/22: received email from USCIS
"On September 22, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

9/21: went to San jose ASC, they took FP notices (no FP again) and said no need to do the FP again.

9/17: received one more set of finger printing notices , I called my lawyer she said go to San Jose ASC again and show them notices.

I am still waiting for My I-140. Unfortunately I can not get a status of my I-140 as the WAC# I have always gives me a message that it can not find it.

I had the same experience....I mean LUD date changes....I-140 date changed for a week and went dead. I think, whatever happens to my case, the similar would happen to your case. As someone in this thread mentioned that, the security clearance is taking time.

LUD == Last Updated Date.

This date is supposedly updated whenever the application representing the WAC number is processed in any manner like requesting more info, approval, taking a peek at it, etc etc.

If you have your WAC number, please go to the following link:

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp

Register as a Customer and that will give you the LUD for each WAC number you want the status of.

My LUD for I-140 is 09/23/2004 and my LUD for I-485 is 04/20/2004

I think the I-485 was last touched on the date when my figerprint results were received by USCIS

Does it mean that my I-140 has been touched today?

Usually it takes one week to get it, obviously, not including weekends and holidays. Your attorney, if not you, should have received the receipts two weeks back. Talk to your attorney, get the WAC #s and create a portfolio @ www.uscis.gov (https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp). Best of luck!

Lawyer told me all the checks were cleared which are sent with the applications. Its been more than 3 weeks since applied. Is there a possibility of calling CSC or email to them about the receipts?

I am afraid we cannot do that when we have an attorney representing us. Ask your attorney to contact the INS office regarding the receipts (we already paid him/her to do that for us, right?). As a standard practice, your attorney would tell you, as per INS instructions, we should wait for 90 days (in some case, 14 - 30 days) for an acknowledgment from INS, if we still don't hear within the specified time then only we can send a query to the INS office. Even then, all your attorney can do is sending a fax note to the INS office and wait for the reply. I know, you might be wondering what a crazy process, our ration card system back home is way better than this, Ahh! :). Anyway, the point is it is frustrating but these things take time.

Hi bucks,

If you can get a copy of cleared check, the reverse side of check will have the wac numbers. In my case, I had paid the fees, hence was able to get the WAC this way. Most banks scan both front and reverse side of check.

In any case, you will get a copy of receipt by ins. few applications take 3+ weeks.
 
Requirement of photo after I485 approved

My I485/140 was approved on 9/13. I got the notice last week and notice INS still ask the photo to be 3/4 frontal to right of the face. I remember currently INS ask the photo to be exactly front of the face. The lawyer is confused too. Anyone know the answer for this? thx

My I140/I485 ND is 09/12/2003. Till now there are no updates to LUD and to the online status. Any one concurrently filed around the same date @CSC still waiting??
