How do you find out if you have a LUD? You get an email - right?

Btw, there have been mass change in online status around this time... I mean 23rd of every month.. Hopefully this is not that
 
no. I check the case status online every hour

Nope. I check the on line status every day, every hour :)

In my case, e-mail does not come unless there's some action involved. I hope I will get five e-mails tomorrow :eek:

ok... now, now... It happened ONCE last month and you are making it a generality.

twice... once it was sent on march 23rd - then received on march 29th... then removal of the 400-450 days part
 
LUD 06/24 too!

I am another NIW that got LUD but no new message on Saturday 06/24... Really hope it's not another general update, but seems like many of us got it on the same day. Keeping my fingers crossed...

I think this is just another mass LUD. I found on the 485 forums that several people who
had their I-140's approved also got a change in LUD yesterday.

LUD on 6/24, approved on 6/26

my I140 was approved today. got LUD on 6/24. today recieved 5 emails.

140/485 concurrent filing. transferred from CSC-> TSC on March 2006.
EB2 with LC sub.
ND: 2006-03-03

Congratulations suanccd, maybe 6/24 LUD is not a joke after all?? I am still waiting for my 5 e-mails though, so DocPC you're not alone.

I just got my labor cleared from PBEC and started looking at I-140 application. One question I had was regarding employment letters from previous employers. Do you need to submit letter from every employer in the past? Do they need to follow a specific format?
Has anybody had a problem related to experience letters?

Any tips/insights will be appreciated.

0. I'm not a lawyer - all answers below are from my experience and they can be right or wrong.

1. You have to consult with your lawyer what exactly you have to provide. Rule of thumb: you have to provide proof of whatever you claimed in your LC inlucding number of years and skillset.

2. You don't need to submit letters from ALL employers, you need to submit letters so it will support all claims made in your LC. E.g. if you're EB2, LC position requirement is MS+3 years, you have MS, so you have to provide letters proving 3 years of experience + skillset. If you EB2 and BS+5 then you have to do more research.

3. I think letters must be on a company's letterhead, state name, contact info and title of a person who issues you the letter, dates of your employement, your position and experience gained. It's desirable that letters to be issued by your managers, but may be coworkers are fine too - ask your lawyer about this.

4. It's easy to get RFE based on that. It's a common thing for USCIS asking to provide more evidences in case of problems with experience letters. It's always a good idea to provede exactly what they asked for.
