Columbus, Ohio - FP Details

Finger Print Notice - Columbus OH

This is intersting, I received a new FP notice today with a date of FP scheduled for 8/21/02. The one that I received on 7/13/02 had a FP date of 7/31/02.

Now I am confused which date to go for FP. Any one else who is in a similar situation????????
 
It is NSC.
Any particular reason for asking this question Priyali, as this thread does belong for issues with NSC??

Just trying to understand how FP notices are being issued. It does appear that RD is not the only thing they are look at.
 
It's strange that you asked about the...

...processing center. Because my SC is VSC - but I got my FP notice from NSC - do you know why this happened ? Or, do you know of anyone else who is in similar situation ?

FP received again

I love this NSC!!! We got the FP notices again today. Both of us. I am scheduled for 8/5 and my wife is scheduled for 8/6. Not sure which one I should go to. Does any one know?

First FP notice received on 7/13
FP Scheduled date - 7/31
The FP Notice has Application Number as LINXXXXXXXX

Second FP notice received on 7/15
FP scheduled on 8/21
The FP Notice has Application number as FPS*XXXXXX

Same is the case with my wife, received two notices. Have no idea which one is the right one, if anyone gets any info please post..

If I transfer to Pennsylvania (same company) does the transfer affect the jurisdiction? Should my papers be transferred from NSC to Vermont (if this is the correct service center)? Is it based on the filer's location or the headquarter's state?

I would appreciate your answers.

I was worried as I had moved this Jan and my lawyer did not send Form AR11 but instead just sent letter stating that my address had changed and it did work.

Sometimes NSC amazes, hope they stun me by a quick approval after FP

How to get the finger print done earlier?

My wife and I got the finger print notice.

RD: 09/6/2001, ND: 10/10/2001. Scheduled FP time: 09/05/2002.

However, I am going to be out of town starting the end of August. Therefore, we would like to get it done sometime in August. Has anyone done that in INS columbus? How do you do that?

Status: Done with fingerprints and now waiting for approval. AVM still says "FP notice sent on ....".
 
Got My FP

Finally I got my FP. It took like one year. Me and my kid(14 yrs) got the notice . But I did not see my wife's.

Did the AVM changed to a different message like FP Sent or something like that. Please post details.
 
AVM Message

I got my FP notice on Sat 8/3/02 and Got my wife's on Mon 8/5/02 . I was trying to check the AVM, But.... It was just ringing and now I have noticed the NSC AVM is totally screwed-up. Mya be they need real desi techs to fix. Hope they will correct the system soon. Good luck to all Waiting guys.
