FP received in mail on : 6/22/02

FP appointment Date : 07/29/02 at Columbus Ohio INS

I think there is still hope.... my ND is 10/01/01 and still waiting for FP

On 6/22, my friend(in Columbus) received his FP notice.
RD - 7/26/01, ND - 9/12/01

I am waiting for my FP.
RD - 8/1/01
ND - 9/15/01

Receipt date: 8/22/2001
Notice Date: 9/26/2001

FP received yesterday. Scheduled for 7/31/2002.
If I can't make it on 7/31, I can just walk in on any following Wednesdays till 10/11/2002. No official rescheduling required.

It is interesting that 08/22/01 RD has already got their FP while other like me (RD:08/10/01) have not yet received FP in Columbus OH.

Any ideas why?

This could explain it, although I never thought of this until now. I had initially applied on 7/15/2001. My lawyer messed it up while sending the checks and our applications. The applications were sent back 3 weeks later and lawyer filed it again, properly this time, on 8/22/2001. May be my RD is actually 7/15/2001 and not 8/22/2001.

That would also explain why my FP is scheduled for 7/31, much earlier than usual.

FP Scheduled on 07/31/2002. Received on 07/13/2002

Heard a lot of People with Receive date of August have received FP notices
