Gurus- Quick timeline of my case.

Feb 2003 - Company A - Applied 485
Sep 2003- Company B - changed my employment
Apr 2004 - Company C - Changed employment
July 2004 - Filed AC21
Jan 2005 - RFE for employment verification
Apr 2005 - Company D - changed employment
Aug 2005 - Interview in the local office

In the interview letter the point that asks for proof of employment and paystubs was left UNCHECKED. Could I get away going to the interview without the employment information with the plea that it was not asked in the interview letter?
You time is greatly appreciated

I am not a guru, but in my opinion, you should keep all the proofs of current employment and future permanent job offer. Interviewing officer can ask for it. Prepare the AC21 paperwork for your current employer and present it only when asked for.
My guess is that the officer will ask for it, but just a guess.

All you need is current company's employment letters and Pay stubs. For Documentation purpose keep employment letter from original company if you have. Take three years worth of W2.

Pay stubs are requested for confirmation of your employment.

----------------------------- Take the future permanent job offer letter with same/similar job from D at the time of Interview
In the interview letter the point that asks for proof of employment and paystubs was left UNCHECKED. Could I get away going to the interview without the employment information with the plea that it was not asked in the interview letter?
------------------ take employer D letter+ 3-4 recent pay stubs through D,W-2 for last 3 years, tax filing 3 years, all EAD, AP, I-94, if you dont provide D letter than I-485 may approved for C
You time is greatly appreciated

Thanks a lot for your replies. I do have continuous employment and hence W-2 and paystubs are not a problem. But the current job I am in (Company D), it is a per-contract and not permanent.

Employer B is ready to re-hire me. Could I go back to that employer before the interview and would that help?

The main goal is to have a future permanent job offer letter. If B is ready to give you that, then no harm in joining B.

EricS- Thanks for your reply. I apologize for too many follow-up, hypothetical scenarios/questions...

Do I need to join the Company B or an offer letter from them would be good enough?
