Change of address so close to end

Hello.

I just got my letter to take the oath today. Supposed to go on 10-9

I also just closed on my new house today. Will move on 9-28

My question is: I have to change my address, but I don't want to interfere with anything as I am so close to the end. But I have to file with the DMV....so by the oath date, my driver's licence will have a different address than my N-445 notice to appear for oath ceremony form.

Do I do a change of address with USCIS and hope all goes well, or should I just keep it the way it is until the day of my oath, then explain to them the truth?

It has taken me almost 2 years since I filed my N-400, so I don't want any delays at all (I want to vote this year).....

What should I do?

Did you move from one district to another?

DMV normally gives you 30-60 days to change your address..since your oath is only 10 days after move, I don't think it would make a difference if you changed your address now or later with DMV.

But I have to file with the DMV....so by the oath date, my driver's licence will have a different address than my N-445 notice to appear for oath ceremony form.

I don't think you will get in trouble for that, also the DMV gives out a small brown cards where you can write your new address on it & carry it in your wallet until you receive a new ID or DL. I would take with me some Documents to the oath ceremony that has my name & my address like Bills, statments or USCIS notices that you received before IF you are still worried.

Dont forget...you only have 10 days to fill out the AR-11 from the date you move. If the time between you move and your oath ceremony is 10 days or less....you will be a citizen...and won't be required to fill out AR-11

I would suggest leaving well enough alone and attending your oath ceremony. As Bobsmyth pointed out, DMV gives you at least 30 days to change your address, so you'll be fine. Your oath is 11 days after your move, so technically, you have to file the AR-11. Again, in my personal opinion, I wouldn't bother changing my address at this point in your naturalization journey, but if your current lease doesn't run out until the 9/30 (the end of the month), your oath will be 9 days later, so you're still within the timeframe to file an AR-11. After you take your oath, you'll never have to notify USCIS of adress changes again. Use your judgement.
