I heard that Canadian can stay at US as a visitor without any visa for maximum 6 month every year. If you are a visitor you won't get I-94. If you find a job during this 6 months you can apply for TN. Anybody can verify this with me?

Yes, that's correct. You'll need to prove that you entered the US legally, either by affadavit or some other evidence.

The need to prove anything about your presence is unlikely.

If you go back to the border for TN, the fact you have left US issufficient.

If you apply for TN by mail (I-129) you merely state that you are on B2 and the date you entered. USCIS knows you don't need visa/I-94. It's not a problem.

visiting?

If you were visiting and found a job you May qualify for a TN visa but you must meet the requirements for the TN visa. We are talking about technical and professional positions usually requiring a bachelor's degree, not a job at the mall.
