Re: thanks rajiv...

BTW, one more stupid question regarding the criminal/security checks: what crime counts as a basis for refusal of a GC.
How about the parking tickets, e.g.?

We want USCIS to:
1. Start premium processing of I-140’s;

2. All I-140’s pending over 180 days should be adjudicated immediately without premium processing fees;

3. Continue concurrent filing of I-140 and I-485;

4. Once the I-485 has been pending for 180 days, the applicants should receive a conditional approval of the green card evidenced by a stamp on the passport valid for 5 years, subject to revocation only on security grounds;

5. USCIS should provide public reports on agency workloads and priorities;

6. The phone system should be improved so meaningful information can be received;

7. We must be provided a method of getting binding, written opinions on AC21 and other regulatory issues on which no regulations are issued by USCIS within six months after enactment of a statute; and

8. We should be assured a community contact point for addressing recurring grievances.

I want to suggest two points for whatever they are worth

1. Lot of people received RFE's. After responding some people get approvals in 1 day some people in a week, Some people it takes 6 months. Once BCIS officer sent an RFE means he reviewed the entire file and all he wants is additional evidence. Isn't it 15 days or 1 month is good enough to review the RFE material.
So i wan't suggest to propose a point for RFE's that once returned a decision must be made in 15 days or at least in 30 days.

2. To qualify for the Naturalization ( Citizenship Application) right now we need to wait 5 years after GC is approved. Since I-485 are taking an average of 2 yrs, Naturalization waiting time is becoming average 7 years. Can we prose to count the waiting period from the date first we entered to the country, or at least from the date Alien number was issed other words I-485 Notice date . Although Project Ocean is handling this, now we are at the table to take a stake, i though this is the appropriate time to include that matter as well.

Sound reasonable...

This sounds really very good. #4 about 485 and getting a temp GC is a very good option. With current processing times, everything is getting much delayed. What is the likelihood of these proposals getting accepted?

Please keep up the good work..

• Government has rejected all proposals. Government is court or USCIS?

Thanks in advance.
