I'm moroccan and I'm 19 years old, I won't apply for the visa this year but only when I'm 21 or 22, anyway I would like to know if I can get a visitor visa even if I don't work in my home country.. I think I may have a chance with the tourist visa but can I apply for extension by this visa and stay in the us after finding work? can I stay with any kind of job? I mean the sponsorship! Guys I need alot of informations of how can I stay with a visitor/tourist visa! it would mean the world to me if you reply with more infos =)

Guest work visa require a college degree. You cannot just decide to remain and work in the US. Read the USCIS website about work visa options.

One big problem you have in order to obtain a US visit visa is proof that you will return to your home country. You admit that this is not your intent. You are unlikely to be granted a visit visa with no job or school to return to.

Thanks for the reply, I may not have a job because I will be studying, obviously then I have a school to return to, but how can I prove them that I will comeback in order to continue my studies in my country, Is there any document I should apply for it? I heard that some people went with a tourist visa and succeded in finding a job and then having a green card, is it really possible?

What exactly are you true intentions? You want to visit the US or move there permanently?

You should check with your school to see if they have a study in the USA program. This is often the cheapest and best way to visit a new country when you are young and in school. If your school does not, there are many international organizations and US schools that place students in programs.

Well then you need to either find an employer who will sponsor you for a green card or you need to have a relative who can sponsor you.

I see, could that employer be anyone, I mean can I be sponsored by any job possible from the employer? even a past time job?

No, part time jobs will not qualify. You cannot move to the US to work for, say, McDonalds. You have to have qualifications that are needed in the US. Of course, these are not always black and white, but then it's hit or miss. You'll have to try and ask when you find a job you want to fill.
