I ve been forwarded this email from the the assistant attorney, informing me that he received it from the FBI. and I am wondering of what it means, especially that I do have a second interview in couple of weeks.

here is the email:

"the following name check litigation matters from your District have been assigned to me by the FBI’s Office of the General Counsel. The name checks have, in fact, been completed on the dates which are listed.

(NAME CHECK COMPLETED ON MARCH 21, 2008)"

Actually I do, I also have a case going on against the USCIS. earlier today I received an email from the Assistant Attorney informing me that he received the email you've read from the FBI.

and here is the email that the Assistant Attorney received from the FBI:

thanks a lot guys

another question how will it work to drop the case after the inteview. I mean how should, legally, drop the case after the interview?

Thanks again

Don't drop it until you get the Oath Latter cuz their is no guarantee that USCIS would send you OL after IV. Don't worry, AUSA will send you a subject matter when he/she wants your sign on it but again be very careful in signing....

thanks a lot guys

That letter tells me that the FBI completed the name checks, but doesn't confirm if it forwarded the results to USCIS.

The last thing you should worry about. If you did not have an interview, you do not have to dismiss lawsuit until you take an oath. Overall, you do not have to dismiss your case, the judge will eventually dismiss it if you do nothing.
