my sesa PD date is : 25 mar 03. two weeks before, i contacted my lawyer about the status. they told me that they received a query and they have replied to that query also. i wanted to know, how long will it take for the SESA to transfer the file to DOL ?

i am really concerned about this.

pl. help me.
 
Hi Just came to know that if u dispute SOC code (Job Title) with EDD, the application is forwared to reassess to Labor MArket Information Division, which takes around 45 days to process the application.

Gurus... any idea what is the end result of this reassesment?? Also if there is no salary RFE ..
Also is it possible to take the dispute back at this stage and ask them to forward the application as it is....

Any help would be higly appreciated....

Hi Sarathynp,

I think I read from the previous posts that it takes about a month or so to hear from EDD that your case has been forwarded to DOL, after you reach your PD.

Is it true that SESA moved by one day atlast for Non RIR.
So another two days 27th and 30th in April.
How many months do you think it will take to complete these two days
 
It took 16 months to clear 26th April... 30th is the day with greatest number of applications ... do your math !

Just heard from lawyer that my application has been forwarded to DOL.
PD: 25th May 2003
Forwarded t oDOL: 12 apr 2004
the backlog at CA DOL is ridiculous.. is anything being done to clear that backlog?
 
DOL to EDD remand

Guys,

Check out my timeline...anybody else on this list like me.

Timeline for ur refrence

1. Filed in 5/30/2001.(EDD/Labor state)
2. Goes to Federal state on: December 2001
3. Recvd at Federal : Jan 2002
4. Retest Remand Letter - March 2003
- My employer provided retest data to them
5. Denied RIR - went to EDD as non RIR case- April 2003
6. Haven't heard from them last one year - April 2004


There were some optimistic moments where DOL had agreed it will take back all the cases which they had put back to EDD. Actually many cases did got approval who were filed after me
but for my particular case.....looks like it is lost hope....

Non-RIR cases hardly move.

Can anybody suggest what option I have . I have expliring H1.
Seeking GC has been a very bad experince for me.

My suggestion is you change company and apply for RIR again.

Simple question

I know this is a very, very basic question and I tried to use the "search" function but some threads are too long to find the information I want.
I am more involved ( and have more knowledge) in the outstanding researcher green card process which I do with my own attorney. In addition ( as a kind of backup, if the EB-1 fails) my company started now the RIR process for me and therefore the company attorney sent all papers to SESA a short while ago. What I would like to know: Which informations or numbers do I need to know from the attorney that I can check the status of my RIR process by my own.
I know this is a very basic information but it would be great if somebody could answer me this.
 
Processing Time between date processing and actual date

Hello,

I am new to this forum. I called up the EDD (916-464-3400) this morning before 8AM and the automatic message response said that they are processing:

Regualar: April 27th, 2001
RIR: June 27th 2003

My Priority Date is June 24th, 2003.
What does all these dates mean ?
Does it mean they have finished processing my case or they have pulled it up and will/are looking at it ?
How long does it normally take to know what they have decided and respond ?
I spoke to my lawyer's assistant, thinking that it would be as easy as she just calling up the EDD and asking what the status is, but, she said that she is waiting to hear from EDD on 8 cases from before June 16th. Anybody heard about there cases on or after June 16th, 2003 ?

I called up the EDD and asked them what date they were processing and what that date meant. They are processing:

Regular: April 27th, 2001
RIR: June 30th, 2003

The date means that today they are actually processing the application. There is a little bit delay in processing, where it goes from filing to specialist desk, where the specialist looks at it and then processes it. My case should have been processed begining of this week, but is sitting on a specialist desk. He would be back on Monday and my case may get processed next week.

PD: June 24th, 2003
 
Are there any ways to find my labor case number? My labor has been filed on 11/11/2002. And transmitted to DOL on 09/12/2003. I am working for a big firm(bank) in LA area. My employer doesn't provide case number and I don't have access to lawyer.
