SESA was processing October 22nd RIR and Apr 20th Non-RIR on Tuesday

Sorry I forgot to post. Can somebody else please take the responsibility? My case has already recvd. an RFE

I am new to this forum but if no one else wants to call I can. As of today SESA is processing Oct 29th, 2001 (RIR)

My case is almost similar to yours. My PD is 09/17/2001. We got a RFE on 08/13/2002. My attorney replied on 09/23/2002. I checked with my lawyer regarding my case, as per them it will take another 1-2 months to reach DOL.

But in your case your lawyer responded on 9/24 and it reached to DOL on 09/27..........what a good speed. Could you please share the information with me. How you got this info. can I check via calling to SESA directly. What kind of RFE it was. In my case it was regarding prevailg wages etc.

for other than software engineers !!

Good News to all who are not software engineers, and who have been waiting for their cases at DOL..

DOL seems to be currently working on only the cases which have DOT code other than 999.151.xxx ... Those who do not have this DOT code at DOL, you can assume your case will be taken before those with DOT code of 999.151.xxx ,,,


999.151.xxx is a code for software engineers.

All of you will get a code similar to above once your case get DOL reciept date at DOL..

unfortunately, for others DOL seems to be stuck at dec 31 cases, even mine is not moving further,, my DOT code is 999.151.xxx ,,,

Hello Arvind,

First Mine is EB2 RIR. Everything was done by the company's lawyer. Lawyer is very experienced and has faced similar situations in past. Even my employer is familiar with the process.

Mine is also EB2 RIR. I am a software professional. Looks like it depend on the skills of your lawyer then you.

By anychance, do you know what the assesment notice was about in your case. I received one too. My case is being handled by the company lawyer and he does not have enough experience.

Hi LadyLuck,

I have not seen my assesment notice. It went straight to lawyer and he responded back directly. He did inform me that he was working on it but other than that I don't know about it's content.

My case moved to DOL on July 1, 2002. But my attorney passed on the receipt # to me about mid Aug.

Forwarded to DOL on 09/30/02

I will be calling SESA every thursday to check the processing times. So you should see a post tomorrow!
