Please use yahoo's briefcase for uploading the >100 files. Follow current naming convention (e.g.23apr03.zip) and upload files to lctracker folder.

I created yahoo account for you so please change password as soon as you can so nobody else can delete those file and you are in control of that account.

If this doesnt work then I think this thread's moderator should create msn group or yahoo group. which allows uploading of files by anyone but doesnt allow deletion.

Could you run you program for RDs after October 2002 as well? Since DOL is processing cases so randomly (I cant believe they processed cases for some DOTs with RD of Sept 02 in Oct 02!), we can see if they are touching any cases after Oct 02 as well.

I am particularly interested in 999.112-021

Please run RD's after Oct 2002

There are many of us with RD's after Oct 2002 and in the NON-IT category (for example biotech) so please do run the program so we can get an idea of whats happening after Oct 2002.

Confusion....

Hi

My NOF rebuttal was sent on 5/19/03 and the AVM says it was certified on 5/23/03. The lawyers have not received the letter about certification yet.. The email status retrieval system still says "Received at regional on ....". Until we get the letter, we are assuming nothing at this point. Because it is very surprising for DOL to take action in such a short time. I will keep you posted. You can find my case details in the lctracker file.

Hi Dumeel.

It may possibly be certified, i had a Query from SESA and after we sent back information it took them 2 to 3 days to move the case to DOL.

I have recently recieved the NOF letter too, can you share some information about your case, where your company is located, how long the ads ran, and how many resumes/interviews conducted.

Hi Dumeel,
Congratulations on your case approval. Don't worry about the email retrieval system. I don't know whether you had seen my previous posts or not. Normally the voice mail system will give you the latest updates. It seems the email system data source gets updated once in two weeks or something. I have experienced that. Actually two of my employer cases had been approved on 05/14/2003 as per AVM, but when I checked the email system it showed "RECEIVED" status atleast for a week. So don't worry. Best of luck...

As far as rebuttal, an Ad was placed for a day and resumes collected for couple of weeks. I don't know how many resumes were received. (the lawyers dont tell me these things as I am not supposed to be involved in this process). I dont even know what kind of Ad they put in the paper.

I work in Phx, AZ (masters in engr + 1 yr exp)

What do these acronyms mean?

Hi guys,
I just joined this forum and am having a tough time following this immigration lingo!
What does NOF, RD, ..
stand for. Is there a place where all related acronyms are listed?

Also, does anyone know the current Oregon LC processing dates?

Whats the deal with premium GC processing, is it for real?

I really appreciate the help that you have extended to all of us.
BTW, is there a way in which I can get the required case #s for Remand Issued to State status of some of my employer's cases?

Thanks to toy3kin192 for uploading the files. All of us appreciate his help.

Those who are confused on how to access files, summary is that is Yahoo allows public file sharing only for paid users. All of us have to login into yahoo using userid, password mentioned and then download files from briefcase. Not hard to do I think once every 2 weeks(currently there are almost none free file sharing websites).

Guys, please note that T3K mentioned that he will update list every 2 week or so. This would ensure that DOL system doesnt get hit unnecessarily.

I also think its time T3K include Nov/Dec 2002 in the list.

DOT--->999.151.031 statistics

Hi All,
I did some statistics analysis on 999.151.031 cases received after Jan,2002 (RD ---Receipt Date). Jan,2002 is when real trouble started.

1880 --> Total cases
107 ---> certified
59 ---> withdrawn
10 --> denied permenant
184 --> Remand issued
86 ---> NOF ( notice of findings )

so, 5% are certified, 2.5% withdrawn, 10% remand issued, 4.5% notice of finding issued. Remaining are still on received status.

Looking at denied/NOF/remand issued, most of the employers are in bay area. didn't mean to be pessimmistic!

NOF means Notice of findings issued by DOL and I believe that RD stands for Receipt Date at DOL.
Hi, I'm new to this forum. It would be great if we can find acronyms somewhere? like I want to know what AVM stands for?

Also I've following questions. I would appreciate if somebody can thorow some information. I'm also one of you. My RD is 17-Jan-03.

1. Will there be any positive/negative impact of the fact that my comapny has hired a junier perosn (US citizen) working in Oracle DBA field from Jan'03 (while my designation is Oracle Developer).
2 I know a person can stay on H visa for a period of 6 years max but is it true that he/she can come back on H visa after a year break (after completing 6 years on H visa)?
3. Can a person having canadian green card work in US?
(question for my friend, who is thikning of getting canadian green card)

approval after replying to NOF??

Did anyone reply after receiving NOF from DOL? any approvals after reinstating as RIR, after showing advertisements? any help/comments/suggestions in this process would be greatly appreciated!!
