What happens to my case?

You will need 3-4 more H1B extension before DOL gives final decision on your labor application. !

You will need 3-4 more H1B extension before DOL gives final decision on your labor application. ! i.e. DOL/SESA has declined your case as RIR and now it will be treated as non-RIR

give me some suggestions

My h1b six years is expiring on oct 2003 and I got the same three options from DOL. We decided to re-test the market but after worldmonitor_1's reply I am think of going for the non-rir option...
I wanted to know is if we go for re-test market then either LC is certified or rejected right? If it is rejected then I can't go back to non-rir and won't be eligible for 7th year extension, am I right? So In case of rejection I have to leave the country by oct '03.

my labor application was received by SFO DOL on 12-06-2002. My priority date is 01-07-2002.

My company has offices in the east coast that would fall under Philadelphia regional DOl and New york DOL.
would it be a possible to request my employer to move my application from SFO to philadelphia OR New york with out loosing the priority date.

how do I track my app?

I got a letter from the labor dept/ INS saying my labor app was received and my case no is158xxx. what does this mean and how can i track my case

AVM and EMAIL system are out of sync

Hi All,
I have checked my employer cases @ AVM, and two cases have been approved yesterday. But when I got the reply from email response system (lcstatus09@...) those cases are still in RECEIVED status. I think these two systems have different source of data. This shows how unorganized the DOL is. The two systems reporting about the same data have different sources of data.....
