Boston Regional DOL Tracker

So I guess they are answering the phone today?

We need to get confirmation that they are processing Sept 1st cases. It is impossible, they said they processing those case a month ago.

Jifjef,

They are still processing August cases also.

My compnay has to receive three cases from them , which were entered in August . But one september case has come though.

So ..be patient. It takes 3 -4 complete months at Boston now..

Are these august cases RIR or NON-RIR ?

Talked to the "nice laddy" this morning

Finally I could get hold of the "nice laddy" and was told that for Non-RIR, they are still processing August cases, I'm so disappointed about their progress, and I don't know if there are so many August cases for them to process or they are not working aggressively recently. I could not get more information from her, but the fact is non-RIR still back to August. Let's wait for Monday to check the processing time from immigration.com. As for both Sept. 15 and Oct.15, they were in August.

There is no rule for this. They are just processing things out of order. This system is not fair.

People who filed in October have been approved already. This lady is giving us misleading info.

Recruitment for Non RIR Maine

Hi,
This is for those who applied from Maine under NON- RIR .

In your experience :-

1) Within how many months of sending application to Maine , do you get a letter for Recruitment ?

2) Within how many months of submitting Recruitment Results, does the case get forwarded to Boston DOL ?

jifjef, Did anybody you know got approved?

Hi jifjef,

You mentioned that people who filed in October also got approved .
Do you know anyone personally who had filed in October and got approved ?

gc_veta_gadu has first hand info since some of the cases that were entered in Aug / Sept came through.

Not that any one doubts you - but if it is confirmed news - we can get a better idea of their processing time and trends.
I was checking the processing time on DOLETA website and it shows Jun. 2004 for NON RIR and July 2004 for RIR . Whereas immigration.com shows that they are processing for 08/2004 for NON RIR and 09/2004 for RIR.

Information is not consistent however we know from gc_veta_gadu that some RIR cases from Aug came through so I guess Immigration.com dates are more updated.

My lawyer told me that another client got through (his RIR case got to Boston DOL in early Oct.).

But you can see what I'm talking about. Immigration.com, the DOL website and the lady ALL HAVE DIFFERENT PROCESSING TIMES. And the most important thing is that not one is consistent with the actual processing time (which seem to be around the end of Sep, beginning Oct.). It is very confusing and frustrating. We have A LOT riding on this.

Update

Three of my friends got their Labour approved last week, their files were moved to Boston end of september 2004.

Question:
I heard that all unopened cases as of 1/1/2005 in all states will be processed from BEC. Is this true for all Regional DOL too?

RIR or NON-RIR

Dear All:

When posting approval dates, would you please also specify whether the labor certification application is RIR or NON-RIR. Without this additional info, your post will be useless in helping to gauge any progress at the Boston DOL.

Thanks.

Cases which entered into the system of boston are considered opened cases?

GC_may..
