Boston Regional DOL Tracker

DOL processing not strictly sequential

It is apparent that the Boston DOL does not process applications strictly in the order in which they were received. Their official message is that they are currently processing RIR applications with an RD of Nov 2001, but it seems like a lot of applications are now being processed within less that 2 months. So this makes it even harder to predict the pace at which they are processing applications. Seems like the best approach is to expect the worst, hope for the best, and wait....

I checked DOL AVM for my status, it still says DOL received my application on 06/24/2002. Does that mean I got RFE or still my application is not processed in DOL? My lawyer is mere waste, he will come to know about my status after me. Thus wanted to know. anyone has RD prior to 06/24/2002 and still AVM says 'RECEIVED' ?

Passed the RD but not yet prcessed

Guys,
I can't tell you want happened with your cases, keep your fingers cross for not getting the RFE cause it will take more time to process the application. Hopefully the officer assigned was on vacation for last week. I know this is frustrating but can't do anything about it.

gateway is eb3 and I heard that eb3 is done quicker than eb2.....

I didn't need to collect many things, only the prior employer reference letters re: my work-exp. Other than that there is
info like current mailing address in the US and the address in home country that's what I had to do in my case for the
attorney.

Time frame

Hay PT,
Approx. how much time it takes to get I-140 in Vermount center. Thanks for information in advance.

Isn't it strange that even ppl's labor get approve but they still visit this section to see what's going on with their buddies..we spend one full here in SESA and DOL anyway....so it's kindda home for a year....that's how I still end up visiting this DOL section a couple of times everyday. To answer y'r question, I am no expert but as per reading the msgs in I-140 and looking at the recent approved cases in VSC it looks like 3-4 months.....most cases "3 months some days from the mailing date" but sometimes upto 4 months and more also....so I am hoping for 3 months let's see. Did you send your I-140 application in already?

You are not kidding !! I still come here a couple of times a week (gone down from the couple of times per day that I used to).. But nevertheless, still hang on this board.

Unfortunately, my PD is 10/19/01 and my RIR application has yet to see the light of my Adjudicatin Officer's cubicle!

Hello Everyone:
This is just to put things into perspective...
MA SESA is now working on...
1) PD 04/30/01 (Traditional LC) and
2) between PD 09/15/01 and PD 10/15/01 (RIR cases)
Following SESA there may be upto 2 months wait before your cases get into the DOL database...
Boston-DOL is processing cases with Reciept Dates of upto June, 2002

Thus, as of today, it is taking upto 10 months for SESA to complete their work; followed by upto 2 months for the in-between phase; followed by about 1 month for DOL to do its job.

It normally takes upto 3 months for I-140 application at the INS service center in Vermont.
