CONGRATULATIONS Gateway !!

WOW !!! It has taken more than 1yr for the Labor Approval.

MA SESA - FOR STATE as well as FEDRAL !!

Also, any chance of updating this forum with DOL: whasssup with them? No updates in almost 1 month now.
 
NOF issued

hi Guys,

just got an email from the company immigration specialist. dol has issued a NOF for our RIR batch. The reply deadline is Aug 12. she said they were going to file the reply pretty soon and it takes about 4-6 weeks after that for any decision.

so this is a waiting game.

anybody in the same boat and if so what has been your eperience guys.

Congratulations Gateway!!

I also got approved 5 days before you but didn't know untill the start of July'02. So now my I-140 paperwork preparation is going on, I hope the attorney files that soon. I will c u in the I-140 section. Could you please post again if you were RIR and EB2?

Congrats, I am EB3 - RIR & started gathering all the required information for I 140, see you in 140 board. Do you know how much time it takes to get actual LC approval.

Finally Through

Hey Gateway Congrats !!!

I use to be megh1993 on this site but lost my password and had to register afresh.

My Status

EB3/RIR
SESA PD : 06/07/01
DOL RD : 06/25/02
DOL Certified : 07/17/02

I am thrilled and confused a bit.

Thrilled that I got certified.

Confused that
When I talked to the DOL lady, she told me that my application is now in DOL and currently they are processing Nov-01 and that it will take 4-6 months to complete.
Then when I check via the phone, it says that I am certified on 07/17/02 Is it 1st April already or what :)

Has anyone else faced a similar situation?

NOF

I got a mail from the companies Immigration dept that they received a NOF . My DOL RD is 6/25/2002.. does any on have any idea why they send a NOF & usually do a NOF case get approved ...

DOL Number

Hi hope_for_gc,
You can call (617)565-4446 and give your SESA #, then they will give your DOL case#.

I called last week to find out the status of my case, which entered DOL on July 2nd but she said that still my case is not entered into the system. And she asked me call after 2 weeks to find out my new DOL #.

Hey Gateway!

I think it's really not clear how much time it really takes to get the certification letter but I was notified by my attorney on 07/11/02
while I was certified on 06/26/02. I think I told u earlier that it was 06/20/02 but actually it's 06/26/02 so you should enquire with your legal representatives if they got the letter from DOL. Mine said that they should file within this week or latest by next week.

PS: GoodLuck to everybody in this section for Labor! Strange thing I got the reply from DOL system today for a very old email of mine...I think 4 weeks back. Looks like random replies are going on as it hasn't replied to any of my later emails.

Can the case still be certified after receiving NOF?

Hi;

I also got an NOF. What will happen if you receive a NOF? Does that mean the company needs to provide more documents? Will you still have the chance to get certified for the Labor Certificate?

Anybody know something about it? Pleaae advise.

Hi Tracy,
Even if you get NOF on LC you can get the LC, your company have to submit more documents related to your case. Because of NOF their will be delay but you will get through.

Congrats....

Congrats PT_june and gateway!! Guys you did it. But I am confused here. My RD is 06/24/2002 (one day before gateway). I checked DOL AVM for my status, it still says DOL received my application on 06/24/2002. Does that mean I got RFE or still my application is not processed in DOL? My lawyer is mere waste, he will come to know about my status after me. Thus wanted to know. anyone has RD prior to 06/24/2002 and still AVM says 'RECEIVED' ?
