Hello everyone,

My details are as follows

pd: April 2000

RD: Sep 28th 2001

ND: Nov 17th 2001


FP: May 7th 2002 ( wheaton)

Case transfered to Baltimore on Aug 8th.

waiting for the Interview date??
 
I got my Interview notice...

I got my interview notice. My interview has been scheduled for September 26.

Yam, when did they send out your notice? I wonder whether the next batch of people might be getting notices on Monday.

My dates were:
The notice date on interview letter is 8/20
The mailing stamp says 8/23 (post office)
letter received 8/24 for interview on 9/11.

Thanks to all the folks who are sharing their info.

Me and my friend have not yet received the interview. Getting frustated :mad: :mad:

Not that we should compare, but folks who got transfered in the last week of July got their ID letters within 2 weeks and Interviewed within a month, now it looks like it is taking almost 2 months. people who were tranfered on 08/05 have an ID of 09/26.

Anyway we will hope for the best.

2 of my friends(MD state)whose RD are in Nov 2001 and Dec 2001 got their approval today. Lucky guys. May be we should be happy that atleast our cases are transfered than sitting idle in Vermont INS.

These guys are different than the first one reported

The friend1(RD : Sep 2001) who got transfered to Baltimore still did not receive ID.
Friend2(RD : Dec 2001) got approval letter in mail yesterday and Friend3(RD : Nov 2001) heard the AVM message yesterday that the case has been approved on Friday.

Does that clarify your question wnqqnw?

This means VSC is also clearing MD cases (from Nov2001 and Dec2001 RD) directly (without transferring)...right??

Yes, VSC is approving MD cases directly for Nov and Dec 2001. I am not sure if everyone in MD state, whose Rd is in Nov/Dec 2001 is getting approved directly or it is just few cases.

My Guess

8/6 and 8/7 transfers will be interviewed between 10/1 and 10/15.

8/8 and 8/9 transfers will be interviewed between 10/16 and 11/8.

that's the way INS works.
 
There are only 2 or 3 08/06 and 08/07 transfers on this forum (registered, that is). So I suspect they will be interviewed about the same time as 08/08 transfers.
 
My observation so far most of the people got their interview notice on Friday or Saturday.
So check your mailbox on Friday and Saturday, you will get your interview notice?.
