I called on Wednesday and the lady told me that the Visa had beed approved on Monday Nov-10th but due to the holiday (veterans) will take an extra days to get it printed and sent out. she said I might get this week, but I have not called them since.
No I didn't ask what are they doing to my passport.
Should I call them?

That sounded like a bad joke. Never mind, I called fedex, and they said, they would not be able to do anything until the Airbill is scanned and entered in their system. Once, it is scanned, I could call them and pay them over the phone.

I spoke to them today but the lady told me to wait for the rest of this week.. she told me that last week of August and first week of september are issued, but this time she didn't want my passport number.

So, I'll wait..... :(

i did call, but she said, that the visa was not printed yet. i dont know whats going on there. they just keep stacking PPs for visa printing or what. i am so frustrated with all this.

I called up DC office to find out the signature on my D156 does not tally , I dont know what they are comparing my signature with may be the one in the passport , and lady said you don't have to go through the whole process again , more inforrmation on how to get it corrected will be in the mail.
 
My Visa approved on Nov 14

I just called DC office and the lady said that my Visa got approved on Nov 14 and has not been printed yet. She also said I may get it next week after the QA process

My qs is about signature. Why did they tell u about signature?
Did u ask or they found this when they do QA ?

Does any of you guys know what QA Check means? what do they check?

No that was in the approval stage , QA is after approval I guess.

I dont know what exactly they do in QA. But I dont understand, why they would take so long to print visa after the approval. Like in my case, my visa was approved Nov 14, but the visa has not been printed yet. It doesnt really make any sense to me.
But if my visa was printed, I would have withdrawn my PP. My travel date is Nov. 26, and I dont know, if I am going to get my PP back in time. Or may be I will have to postpone my travel plans.
 
Hopefully I will get it on time, I had reservations made for this Saturday Nov-21 and then I think I might have to cancel the trip.
oh well.. as usual waiting and waiting...

Lets keep fingers crossed and just wait to show on the Fedex or UPS today.

Finally got my passport. Everything looks ok.

Here are all the details again for your references:

SL date: 08/05
DC date: 08/29
Visa approved: 11/06
Issued: 11/13
Received 11/18 (through Fedex overnight)

My ticket is for 11/19, just in time...
