I've attached the latest status.txt sorted by date received. Also cleaned it up to make more readable.

I would like to add some comments to the above posts. Actually, there was a mistake with my case number. Mine was 044036xx but in my first posting i wrongly gave it as 044039xx. Some of my colleagues filed on consecutive 5 day period i assumed mine would be the latest but it so happened that mine was the case filed earlier. Sorry for the inconvenience. we still have 044039xx cases and 044042xx cases in my work place who are counting their days. will keep posted when i learn about the other approvals.

It definitely should help us when you update the case status of your colleagues whose case numbers are in the range of 39XX and 42XX. Would appreaciate your continuing participation in this thread.

I think cases till august 2003 have already been assign to some officer. My file was submitted in Sept,2003. I am in the 8000 series, I have looked up some cases in 5000 , 6000, 7000, most of which were in either June, July, August Rec date, have already been either certified or remand to the employer status.

As someone mention, few case number do not match with the month or they don't follow the pattern. There are cases in 7000 series which have a rec date of Sept, 2003 and still showing the same message, Rec in Regional Office.
Also cases from 5000, 6000, 7000 who got certified or have a remand to employer note dates within this year either July or August. These cases were not preselected many months back in 2003.
So guys with June, July or Aug dates, sit tight your turn is very sooon!!!!!!!!
 
Even mine was recieved in Sept 2003 and has not been assigned to anyone yet. Frustating thing is cases recieved in oct 2003 with my DOT code are already certified.
My DOT code is 0390-162.014

How do you if your case has been assigned to someone or not ? Where do you go to get that type of information ? And, how do you know that cases from october have been certified ? Did any one from october post on this forum or you just know of one person who claims to be in october ?

I called DOL 20 days back and spoke to a lady there, She said my case was not assigned to anyone yet.About OCT 2003 cases i got the case numbers from http://www.flcdatacenter.com/ and checked in AVM to find out they are certified. I guess GA cases are processed faster than any other state, FL cases are taking for ever.

I don't think DOL atlanta is going by DOT codes,
My dot code is 185.167.070.
From all the states I have searched from 2003 only 4 files were in that category. Out of those 2 got certified long time ago and other 2 files including mine were from sept 2003, both of them have the same message "REC in Sept 2003" etc...
 
Anyone here got a letter from the backlog reduction centers? I wonder if they started processing cases from Atlanta.
 
It could be combination of case # & dot code & something else..

How do you know that cases till aug 2003 are assigned to specialist. Is it just a guess or do you know for sure ?

i don't know whats going on with ATL DOL.

i checked certifications my DOT code and found that cases from the month march 2003 still havent been certified. my case has a R_RO date of may 2003 so it seems i have a long way to go.

my assumption is that ATL is certifying cases not by case #'s but is also taking the DOT code into consideration.

:mad: DOL has asked for "Recruitment report" ...All the Resumes that were received for the post and the date details ... Could anyone throw more light whether this is generic and mild or is it something to worry?... :confused:
 
This should be pretty simple query to answer for your company..Yours should be certified in a week or so..after your company replies for query :)
