hello everyone. i am a new member on this forum. my federal is being processed from atlanta.

receipt date in atlanta: may 25th, 2003

i was talking to my lawyer and she mentioned that there have been cases where atlanta has processed some june 2003 applications. i don't know if that makes sense because the processing website still shows December 2002. do you guys thinks its possible?
 
That's the way ATL DOL works. If you can go through this forum's postings for the past 3 or 4 months, you will notice it.
 
DOL approval letter

How much time does it take for lawyer to receive the DOL labor approval letter? Mine was approved on 31st according to system. Though its Texas case, i came here since texas group is lethargic.

Normally it takes from 1 to 2 weeks. But there are some unusual cases took more than a month. Again, this is experience at ATL DOL. I don't have any clue about Taxes then.

Hi all. Iam new member to this form i have been browsing through this forum couple of days thanks to all for your support and suggetions.

My Receipt date in Atlanta was May 30th 2003 and my case my filed in GA SESA on Nov 2002.
 
Any news on Amendments...

Guys...
Any news / experience with amendmnets? I feel positive about it and think I should go for it. There is no point in playing game. If we can be straight and honest about things it may help.
What ya all say?

i called my lawyer again and sought a logical explanation as to why some applications recd by ATL federal have already been processed while the website still shows Dec2002.

Her response was that "probably the application that was certified was a clear cut and easy approval as the guy had an advanced degree(phd) with notable contributions to R&D field for the company.
 
I extracted data from the system for applications received by ATL DOL between the dates 01/01/2003 and 02/28/2003.
Following is the analysis of the data, for those who are interested, and is for the dates given.

What I hear from my lawyer is a diff story.
He say as there is a big backlog at ATL office some of the application where processed at the other center. for this they picked up some random bunch of application and processed. it so happed to be during the june & july applictions.

It may be true. But that is not only the case. One of collegue's case approved in 3 months time ATL DOL. Her case is also same labor category, experience and salary as mine. So you can not predict the processing style of ATL DOL for 100%.

I am from Florida - so naturally am interested in Florida per se. My application is also within the time-frame that you have identified. Let me know what you can find out, if that is not too much trouble. Great work on analyzing/ streamlining the data though. Thanks for your input/feedback to the forum.
 
Hi vangaru-

I have also downloaded the complete data (zip file) from DOL website. My case was forwarded on Sep 2003. I was searching in the text file. I don't have case number and I searched with all the options like employer phone number, employer name, address, city, zip, contact name, DOT and what ever possible. But no lock.

I am very much confident that my case is not in the database.
 
vangaru, can u send sql query so that i can create and download al info in to the table. then i can able to look in my case.
