sri789,

Congrats on all your company approvals. Wish you good luck on your 140/485 or CP. Please update the forum once you got the LC approval notice on the mail.

Any other good news guys????

New RIR guidelines for Labor Cert?

Did anybody hear about new RIR guidelines for Labor Cert?
How are they going to affect process?

Is it good news or bad news?

guidelines donot reveal how the processing speeds will go up

I have been following the forum for the last two months. The guidelines donot help to speed up the processing times. An approval/denial is better than making a candidate wait for a decision. I am not sure the guidelines mean anything to candidates like us who are awaiting a decision.I am not sure- but is there anything anyone of us can do as far as reducing the time it takes to get a decision?if not, its a case of waiting waiting indefinitely for something that has lost its charm now.

My application was filed in september 2001.It landed with DOL in March 2003. This wait is getting ridiculous and hopeless because im paying taxes and I dont see anyone coming forth to get things rolling faster than what it is now. This forum is great to keep track of whose cases are getting processed, but it does not seem to have any indicators on how it can speed up things.Aparently our tax dollars are going down some big sink.

Yesterday I watched Green Card fever movie. I think it is worth to watch that and realize our future in this country :D

DUTTA...wish you good luck and hope u will get approval in short duration.

Did your lawyer talk to your state SESA or ATL DOL? When did your transfered to regional level? from which state you are processing your LC?

rxr,

How do you say your case number have been delayed? Did the DOL told that your case don't have case # yet?

Hi,

I am one of the silent observers of this thread. Don't want to get my hopes up too high, but if you review Udutta's previous post, there was a case dated December 4, 2002. Though, it was remanded to employer- nevertheless this case was reviewed. Though it is hard to figure out how they actually work, I believe that some December cases, have been reviewed along with November cases. So hang in there, you might be next.

I am a month behind you - Atlanta received date- January 23, 2003. I am hoping with the new RIR guidelines, Atlanta DOL cases can be expedited. Anything clear cut that fits the bill, should be approved. Unless, there are some other hidden conditions.

Have a good week-end everyone!
