about the article on murthy

I have seen that article last or last before week.
I did not see anything in there that can help us.
It talks more about some guidelines to help process
the huge backlog...Unless I misunderstood it...

By the way, I would like to thank everybody here that
are updating us all with the case statuses...

regards,

Guys!!!

We, as a team, are making calls to ATL DOL in-person, ATL DOL telephonic information retrieval, etc

Did any one of you came across cases which are approved in JAN 2004 and posted on these databases? If not, we may be going after a worthless database for nothing. Because, if they are going to update the database after few weeks after approval, we will know by that time from our attorney.

Please somebody comment. Am I thinking wrong?

If somebody's LC got approved in JAN 2004, please let us know.

Thanks !!!!

Thanks Tamil_GC,

I will also update some of the numbers today ( If AVM is working fine ).

Thanks you all for you kind support and patience..

Please come forward and update the status file....Choose your numbers yourself..

Status file updated

All, Please check the status file.

I updated some of the numbers; Will appreciate if everyone come forward and update the fie so that tracking will be easy for everyone and we can also find out what's going on.

Please let me know if any numbers are missing
between 04395501--04395601..

Keep patience..

Thanks

Here is what my attorney says about processing dates logic

*********************************
The date that appears on the DOL's
processing report is an indication of which applications are currently
being assigned to analysts for review. However, it doesn't mean that
all applications prior to that receipt date have been adjudicated.

For example, I recently had a client whose application for labor
certification took a full two months to be approved even after the
DOL's processing times reached the month following his particular
receipt date. He was particularly anxious because he was felt that
his application was either lost or that there was a problem with it.
Was there a problem with his application? None whatsoever. It
merely took the analyst that long to review the application and the
supporting evidence.
**************************************

Makes Sense .. I guess

I guess what Prosixs lawyer says makes sense. We can never be sure how long it will take a particular officer to certify a case. DOL probably goes by a certain average of cases being reviewed at a particular time to figure out the current date of processing. This date probably only represents the majority of cases being reviewed for approval and does not imply that everything before that month has been certified.

The only thing we can do is wait for the DOL date to reach our month and then hope that it gets through within a couple of months after that.

My receive date is the 6th of Jan and it looks like DOL might move into December this month. Jan will probably be in February. Hoping that the officer will take no more than 2 months to certify I realistically expect a decision on my case about April time. I am hoping this is the worst case scenerio.

On the other hand, I could call DOL next week and find that I have been approved :) who knows.

cheers,

saras76, I like your approach (hope for the best and at the same time ready for the worst) good for you....:)

Coming weakend is again a long weekend for them (M.L King day). One more excuse for them to slow the process further down.

status file

I want to participate in updating the status file. (status.txt)
Can someone let me know how I should pick the numbers from AVM? What range I should be checking?

Thanks Mito

Hi Mito,

Welcome to this thread. All the guys in this thead are very supporting and helping each other like the way you are coming forward to help all of us.

For AVM information you have to call ( 404-562-2131 ) this number and then Press 1 and again 1.

Then You can enter case numbers one by one and record the information in Computer or Paper and later update the Information in the status file ( Just Download it and add your information and upload the file back)

I will give you the numbers...

Will appreciate if you can track numbers starting from
04395651--04395671 ...

Hey, It's not necessary to track all the numbers, If you record only five-ten numbers thats OK, But whatever you track, please past and update the STATUS File..

Thanks again..

LaborUnknown,

I appended 20 more case number to the file. ("status.txt")

Couple of questions:

1- Why do some of the case numbers have the identical info including even the DOT code? Excuse my lack of knowledge if the answer is obvious.

2- Who will do the analysis on the status.txt file we are gathering info for. If someone gives me a lead on this I volunteer in working on this too.

3- What other case numbers should we consider additionally?

Thanks,
Mito
