Prelimnary Labor Approved??

My office called DOL today they told that my case was Prelimnary Approved by regional officer???? Waiting for next things.

What is meaning of Prelimnary Approved??
What sholud be done next

Preliminary approved sounds better than nothing. Congratulations may be in order. You were not listed in our tracking list. For the benefit of all our viewers, what is your ATL DOL received date and DOT code? Probably just wait for official certification to be sure, before proceeding with the next steps.

GreenMd's file was transferred to Atl DOL in May 03 and it is too early for it to be certified(not really if its jungle rules). I did not care to reply to greenMd's message as he was a silent reader of this forum when everyone was updating their date's and we requested everyone to post their timelines. Also observered GreenMd post's his message only when he needs some info and does not care later...

Dont take any offense greenmd but its a fact from your post in other forums too.

I worked with search engines and know how to crawl pages and parse information from them.

Telephony is not my expertise. I can do the work, if any one of you are aware of the web pages that have the same information, I can do the work.
 
Just a little thought

It's very easy to program a modem to make calls. The difficult part is how the program can "understand" the answers. Voice recongnition might be a little bit out of our reach, but its very easy for the code to determine if the line is "silent". Maybe we can measure the length of the voice response for each status, then by detecting when the line goes silent and comparing the length of the response with what we measured, the code might be able to determine the status....

It seems ATL DOL officers haven't come out of "Holiday Mood" yet. I haven't seen any recent approvals. It is so depressing.

My case was submitted to GA SESA on 11/29/2001. It was approved by SESA and forwarded to ATL DOL on 03/10/2003. 26 months and still counting ..... Some of my friends who applied for GC around same time as me, from other states, have got their GC (stamped in passport, waiting for physical GC). :mad:

Frustrating!!

Guys,

It is really frustrating. DOL people are saying that they are processing 2nd and 3rd week of December cases, but in our group Prosix, Pashwin & other Dec. guys are still waiting.

Prosix, Pashwin, you guys or attorneys should talk in person and really find out what's going on.

By the way, friend of mine is still waiting for Nov. 19th, Rec. Date.

God knows what's going on...

Instaed of writting code that talk how about going to a " Baba " ( Holy saint ) I know. He will be able to find out exactly when we will be out of this mess. The " BABA" will not charge anything for this service. He charges hefty fee to the folks from Hollywood.

See, I know that Chalo_India has heart. My thoughts precisely. Let's watch their web-site carefully when they update it this time - it is about that time of the month. If it states that ATL DOL is processing January 2003 cases, I would suggest December guys kick their butts and go knocking on their doors.

Please do not discriminate. Some of us are getting started with the process and thus just plain observers. Also some of us have few question and even more so few opinions or advice this just plain observation. This does not mean that such people do not deserve help.

Come on guys this is a waiting game. I am sure all your approvals will come soon. We all wish the best for all of us in here right. So lets keep the forum active and keep posting the queries and approvals. This will help us all.

I agree with wannabe... Everybody can understand Nov & Dec 2002 guys frustration.. lets co-operate and keep ourself motivated. Everything will be alright and we'll hope to hear Good news soon.... Labor Unknown & Others

Thank you for taking the time to do this and updating us on that matter. I for one, do not have the expertise for this sort of thing. Looks like it is moving along, slowly but surely.

Thanks every1 for wishing me luck on my labor certification. Wishing same for all of you known or unknown.
I know you all are eagerly waiting for decsion on Dec'02 cases. I know it is frustating, but still my case is in RECVD status and don't know how long it will be. Only thing I am worried about is whether I can keep my job (or say project :rolleyes: ) upto I-140 filing or not, coz the situation is scary almost in every field.

All, I updated the status file with cases which were already tracked by Pashwin..

I'm looking for people who can take some responsibility and fille out some gaps here.... not much but at least 5-10 numbers everyday...

Please reply who wants to fill and also the Gap numbers so that
I can track only after that number....
