Thanks Tamil_GC... even I hope the december guys will be out of this list soon but it is still possible jan and later guys may get out of this list first. Thanks to ATL jungle rules

If you get lost in a jungle and meet a Lion, what will happen? In my opinion whatever happens will depend on the mood and will of the Lion. :)

Called Atlanta DOL. and surprisingly the lady was very soft spoken and answered most of my questions.

She said my employer or attorney has to call for specific case information.

When asked what is the current processing stage, she said they are processing Dec 1st week applications.

When asked how is that few applications from 2003 have been certified ? she answered several transmitted in 2002 were lost(mine was lost too) and they asked those employers to transmit again which was done in 2003, but they were originally from 2002.

Chalo_India --- hows your lion doing ? the lion was probably worried about your mood. I dont see much humor in that when everyone has been waiting for so long for their certification and specific issues. Good luck to you and your Indian Labor Certification.

Anyhow, It's been Dec 1st week for last month and half...My preditions about DOL Christmas Parties are coming true....

Mine is forwarded to DOL ATL on Nov 21st and the case is still pending. I asked my attorney to give the case #, she simply said No. I tried to track with the empolyer phone #, couldn't find any case on that date. I asked my attorney if my case remanded to employer because the website says they are processing Dec 02 cases. Here is her response

If you are referring to your case specifically, you case is not remanded. If there are any remand notices, they will be send to our office directly because we are the attorney of record for the case. Your case remains pending with the Atlanta DOL at this time. It is unlikely that it may take 1-2 months for the officer to adjudicate a case. Thus, although the government’s website indicates that they are processing Nov/2002 cases, this does not mean that all Nov/2002 cases have been adjudicated. It only means that they are in the process of reviewing Nov.2002 cases.

Once we hear anything from the government, we will notify you on the same day. Thank you.

You are not alone...I have a friend whose ATL received date is Nov 19th...Haven't heard a thing from his Attorney or DOL....AVM says that case has been received on Nov 19th.

By the way, his file is EB2, RIR, Florida resident.
 
Mine is still Pending. Just checked today. Did any one hear any approval after 25-NOV-2003, coz it seems that was the last time AVM got updated.
 
AVM is dead and so the people on this thread too........

Anyone has any update. seems like everyone busy in making wishes for the new year;)
 
I haven't heard anything from my attorney. So I assume mine is still pending (fwed to ATL DOL on Nov 21st 2002)

so seems like they are updating the AVM and working some cases of Dec'02 too.

Do you have case number. If so why don't you call the Atlanta 404-562-2115 and ask them why your case is still pending, while on Web it says they are processing Dec'02.

Also what is your DOT code, RIR/NON-RIR etc ?
 
As I said earlier, I dont have my case #, my attorney said she cannot give that information. I tried with employer phone number, but it didnt listout my case. I sent another email to my attorney asking if ATL DOL remanded my case to employer because they already started working on Dec 02 cases, and mine is nov 21, 02 itself. She said mine is still pending at this time.

Veerudu and all FLORIDA filers.

It seems like most the cases getting delayed in approval are forwarded from FLORIDA. Mine is from FLORIDA too. Any idea about my guess?

It is your attorney's responsibility to ask DOL why your Nov case is pending and at this point she can clearly ask DOL the reason for pending coz DOL website says DEC'02, mean they finished Nov cases. If you make further delay, your cases would have further more problem in processing. So ask attorney to call DOL for the reason and let us know what she gets.
