Hi,
My perm labor approved on 29 Nov 2005. It's amazing..with in 2 weeks. I got confirmation from my lawyer. But my OLD labor is still pending at PBEC since Jan 2003.

Labor approved Nov 29th 2005. (email confirmation)

What are different status for PERM application
Folks ,
I am filled under PERM on Nov 22 . EB2 Bachelor plus 7 years .My Employer replied confirmation email . It is showing status "pending" .Anyone know what does that means? For some people it shows in progress . How many status are possible ?

PERM Filed: 10/17/2005.
Time taken: 46 days.
Details:
Software Engineer (supposedly EB-2), MS + 0
H-10: No
H-12: No
Wage Level: 2
Processing Center: Atlanta
"Priority Date": 10/2005
No Audit. I don't think any business necessity letter was sent either.
Mine is a very typical case, Applications Software Engineer. So bottom line is that Software Engineer's under EB-2(will know for sure only after I-140 approval) can get thru PERM. There are several examples in both the Atlanta and Chicago trackers.
As for how I feel, I do feel happy. But more than anything I feel relieved.

In Process ... It's 59 days now since they received my application!
According to my attorney's office - DOL reports an approximate processing time for PERM cases of 45-60 days. We have seen cases get approved in less than time and some cases which take longer.
Got the following response to my email inquiry to Atlanta PLC -
Thank you for your e-mail to the National Processing Center concerning your case filed under the new PERM program. The case is still being processed, and official notification will be forthcoming shortly.

Just want to update, my PERM got approved today.
Filed: 10/21/2005 and was in-process since 10/21/2005
Status: Certified 12/09/2005
Wishing all the people waiting in line to be certified soon. Seems things are moving but not fast enough.
Also, I have priority date of DEC-2000 with my previous company labor and I-140 approval, so I may be able to use this priority date as it became Jan-2001 for EB-2 India.

I don't see many EB3 filings. My attorney (Murthy) insisted on fliling EB3 instead of EB2. Does it take a longer time for getting EB3 PERM approved? I've filed on 10/10/2005 and my status is still in process.

I just now got this happy news from my Attorney(thanks to UN and my employer) that my Perm labor in Atlanta Center has been approved .
Prepared date: Dec-04-2005. Approved date: Dec-14-2005. The position was for an IT manager.
I already have my 140 pending on a sub-labor in VSC with no news. Rest of details in my signature. Best wishes to everyone!!
