Let's start this tracker since we're already one into April 2005 ok?

LUD = 4/6/2005, 4/7/2005

I am going for stamping on 15th at Dallas. Anyone with experience at Dallas?

GoodLuckIn2005, how did you get cards without stamping?
 
Cards

They took picture, index finger print when we we went for fingerprinting

Code : 3, (I think it is the new process)

This is somethign new. Was you case transferred to the local office?

My approval letter said that I had to take infopass appointment to stamp the green card.

My 485 approval letter says card ordered, and i received the card within a week

yES. THATS RIGHT
whoever done recently the CODE3 (Biometics) they will get cards right away.
me an my wife cases approved on april5th .
My wife got card on April11.
I am waiting for mine. :)

Guys,

if you get a biometrics and you are approved, can you still go for stamping if you need it for travelling, or do you have to wait for the card? any idea? thx.
 
According to the latest reports ..
After you get an approval , next email is card ordered from there you can take min 3 days and max one week.
for my family case it is just 3 days . (my wife got the card )
So think about your self now !!

Had done biometrics for fingerprinting but still had to get PP stamped and give fingerprints.

approval notification

approval asked me to make infopass appt to finish process.The guy there took fngerprints, stamped passport and told me I will get a card within the year.

Dont Worry .That is the usual word from mouth of USCIS.With in few days your LUD for I-485 will change that your card is ordered and mailed .and with in two weeks you will get your card .
I have seen personaly on my friends cases who did stamping in March. They already have their cards in hand :)

I did biometrics even after that i need to do PP
