April 2005 Cases

Could you please answer following questions?
- In my I-845/I140 RD notice on I-797 form, the priority dates are blank. Where do you find out the priority date?
- What does LUD mean?

Here is my status so far.

EB2 CSC Center Concurrent Filling

I-140 RD 04/26 ND 05/6
I-485 RD 04/26 ND 06/6
I-131 RD 04/28 AD 05/27
I-765 RD 04/28 AD 06/03
No FP notice yet
 
PD is the date on which you filed the labor certification. It is generally specificed on I-140 approval.

LUD = Last Update Date. You can create an account on USCIS website and build a portifolio of your cases. Whenever USCIS touched your application, they generally update the status. It is a way tracking whether they are doing something your case.

LUD means Last Update Date. You can see it on your online case status at the respective service center.

Mine is EB3 - Non Concurrent

I140 - RD 04/14/05 ND 04/15/05 LUD 06/08/05
I485 - RD 05/25/05 ND 06/01/05

But no news about the LUD? Any Idea what it could be?

Many folks said they got LUD when they sent enquiry email or called them by phone, Did you made any enquiry by phone or email for your 140?

No , never sent any email or called them.

Is it something to do with my I 485. It has a RD of 06/01/05.

may be that's the reason.

There isn't much news about 140's these days and looks like April cases haven't touched yet.

I even checked with the lawyer, he has not update. So i guess its just because of the I485.

Seems like most of the april cases has been sent for Name Check , probably thats the reason I-140 is not getting processed.

I got my FP notice within first week of filling but now when i enquired they say they have't received the Name Check Result. Due to this they are not processing my EAD/AP/140/485.

One way or other things get delayed. May be they are waiting for Eb2 to retrogress

My I-140/485/131/765 receipt date is 04/04/2005

I thought name check is a seperate process and can only affect 485, other cases 140, AP, EAD should be processed without any impact on FP results, no?
may be the resources from 140 processing is allocated to some thing else?

btw there is LUD on my I-140 /485 application for today, but no email/message change
 
This is a very good sign for you. You should get approval soon then.
Hope this LUD is the second LUD after you did FP.

Don't know guys, its very confusing and nonsequential. The just open a case , so that it gets a LUD then sit on it for months. Don't go by LUD's thats my personal experiance.

gc_rd_april,

did you had lud on your 485 with any email update on your finger print results? there is another thread saying if name check is pending then 140 will not be processed. My understanding is FP is only with 485 and has no impact on 140, is that correct or not?
