It turns out my LUD change was due to the approval of H-1B extension. The LUD was 9/6/04 and my H-1B extension was approved on 09/13/04. Also the LUD for both my and my husband's cases got changed even though it is just my H-1B case.

Good. Wait for the next LUD change... ;)

My LUD changed when they received the result of the FP1. It also got changed before my first EAD was approved. Then right before my husband's EAD got approved, both my and his 485 LUD got changed. They are looking up the 485 cases when they are processing the related cases.

The current LUD for both my and my husband's 485 is 9/x/2004. We don't know what is coming next, could be RFE, FP2, or my H-1 renewal that I filed 2 months ago.

Congratulations!
So it takes about 6 days after your last LUD. That is quick, gives us hope though my LUD turned out to be H-1 approval.

Good sign or bad sign?

My H-1 extension was recently approved. Does that mean my 485 will not be approved before my current H-1b expires (it expires in 12/31/2004)? If they plan to approve my 485 case, there is no need for H-1b extension approval now.

Are they related or independant? A little worried.
 
H1 and I485 are independent process

There is no link for your LUD and H1 renewal. They are both independent. So some activity on your I485 may mean FP notice/RFE/Approval.
 
Rajudm, thanks for your comment. Yours seems more reasonable. Otherwise, it is hard to explain why LUD for my husband's 485 case got changed before approving my H-1 extension.

This case has been approved. On September 13, 2004, an approval notice was mailed.

My case has been approved and received email at 7pm EST. my spouse and Child cases still shows prevous status message with same LUD as 9/13/04. Looking at the previous approved cases I am expecting my family cases should be approved in few days from Now.

Thanks to every one on this forum. Hoping to see you all with Success soon.

I will be on forum for a while to share my following activities like stamping etc.

Atleast for once my prediction came through. I wish I could predict on my case....

Got 2nd finger print notice for both of us scheduled for 09/21/04.

Concurrent filing EB3 -->I140/I485
RD -- 04/30/2003;

I485 LUD-> 05/06/2004

My last LUD was 5/6/04 as well and the 1st FP was also done in march,2004.
What is your current LUD?

Hello everybody

My 485 got approved 2 months ago(I even got my card), but my spouse's 485 is still pending. Anybody with similiar experience?

I-140 ND 04-01-2003, AD 07-07-2004
I-485 ND 04-01-2003, AD 07-09-2004

We have the same ND for both our petitions and even did FP on the same day, but she has no LUD since FP receipt.

Hi bighead126,

Though we got the 2nd FP notice scheduled on 09/21/04. My status remained same
"On May 6, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."
Hopefully they will update after receiving the 2nd FPs.
 
Interesting scan result!

I did about 300 case scan around my case# EAC0314352050-350. Out of 27 I-485 cases there were 10 transfered cases, 2 denial, 3 approval, and the rest 15 are FP Received/Resumed cases. Above all the only 485 case in between my wife and me got approved. What a thrill feeling and interesting stat. Just want to share with you guys. have a nice weekend and hope to hear good news on everyone case soon.

FP2 done - 10/02

Got my FP2 done yesterday (10/02). I had to reschedule my appointment because received notice latter than schedule date.

Original FP2 schedule date : 09/01/2004
Reschedule FP2 date : 10/02/2004 (Done)

Most Unfortunate are the EAC03137 case dated:April 1, 2003

My conclusion on seeing the cases with ND as early as April 2004 approved. Unforunate :p are those with the ND of April Fools day of 2003. Well I am :) for those GC is approved. God bless those waiting for the I-485 with an early adjudication.

I waited for couple of weeks for family approvals, Then went for GC stamping on Oct 1 2004 with infopass appointment at 8.00 am to San Francisco USCIS office. I reached office 10 minutes before and officer called me at 8.25am verified my GC approval curtesy copy, Driver Licence,Passport,EAD cards and insisted me for original I485 approval which was with attorney according to officer I should have been taken with me. The next 5 minutes he did some papaer work I signed and gave finger print for the GC card. My passport stamped with one year validity. I am out of office at 9.00 am with happy face.

On the same day i received the RFE email for my wife and daughter and waiting for the USPS mail to attorney. I will post the details ragrding this once i here from my attorney.
