Hi All:

I couldn't believe what I saw when I checked my case status
online. It read:

"This case has been approved. On August 20, 2003, an approval
notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not
received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your
address. "

I almost lost my hope when I got this news. I truly appreciate
the encouragement and advice all of you have offered me,
especially your willingness to listen to my stories and to share
your opinions.

I guess I won't join the petition for Oct filers then. But I'd like
to assist in anyway I can. I'm certain your days will come soon
enough that your equal share deserves.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish to see approvals of all October through December 2001 applicants before the end of this month.

You are right. The congressman's help was useful.

Also the senator's help was useful. Kerry's office contacted
the BCIS back in May so I got the real case status,
and also received my 2nd FP notice.

Recently I went to Congressman William Delahunt's office
to seek help. They talked to the BCIS and then told me to
wait for 60 days. Now it's been only about a month since
and I got my approval.

In case I don't get my approval after 60 days since the day
the congressman's office talked to the BCIS, I can ask the
congressman to pressure the BCIS to keep their "60 days"
promise, according to Rajiv's office.

As long as your senator or congressman is willing to help,
the BCIS will approve your case.

As you said before, Clueless is becoming Clueful!

How to Cancel My EAD Application?

I got my approval today.

I applied for a renewal of my EAD in the VSC and my EAD receipt
date is July 10. Anyone can advise me on how to cancel my
EAD renewal application and get my money ($120) back from
them?

If BCIS has not cashed your check, just go for stop payment. Spend $20 to save the remaining $100.

Well we are happy that at least one of the Oct's one has been approved. I hope the next one will be "485102001"

Congrats. Your EAD will be refused on the basis of I-485 approval, at least theoretically!
