I-485 Approved!!! (AC21) after a long interview

My case has been approved today after an hour long interview and waiting for several hours for final decision after the interview.

I will get approval notices by mail in couple of days as informed by Immigration officer.

May be obvious that derivative application of spouse has been approved as well.

Officer was very polite and meticulous in collecting all the documents.

Because, it's AC21 case, they took some time for final decision and are going mail the approval letter by mail.

Online status has not been updated yet. I will update you with more details soon.

FI485, yes mine is VSC to CA transfer after an RFE.

Thanks to all of you for the complements.

Waited for 4 years for the whole process to complete from start to finish as posted on rupnet site.

In a nutshell, the whole experience was not smooth at all. At every stage, had road blocks.

2 queries for LC, 1 query for 140, 1 RFE, 1 Interview for I-485.

Hope GC stamping and GC card might be easier :)

Obviously relieved of pain of waiting in the dark and uncertianity.

AC-21 switched job 160 days from RD of 485. I-140 remained valid for almost 2 years. Had intent and good faith by means of petioning employer offer letter (but did not show them).

New employment with same title and same duties, same salary.
Replied that it will be the same in future when i was asked.

They did not seem have to bothered much, since i worked for sponsoring employer several years.

To back it up had all tax returns, W2.
