Applying for citizenship - income requirement

I have a green card and I will be eligible to apply for citizenship in a couple months. Is there any minimum income requirement? I heard from somewhere that if you like to sponsor your spouse for a green card later, your income for (last year or last 3 yrs) needs to be at least 18500 K/yr? I am a single person and I am not thinking about any spouse sponsorship now or anytime soon.

However checking to see just in case if there is any income requirement for a single person too, when applying for citizenship?

Out of past 5 years after I got green card, my first three yrs income is way above this limit however I had absences from USA in 2009 and 2010 and these years income is a little lower than this limit.
 
There is no income requirement to be eligible for naturalization. In fact, there isn't even employment requirement. However, you may want to make sure that your absences from the U.S. didn't break continuous residence.

I know... I hope I didnt break... I have several back to back few months absences however never broke 180 days in a row and I have totally way above 30 months presence in US in last 5 yrs (almost 40 months)... So on paper I am fine but I heard that they are sometimes mean and subjective about back to back abesences... So we will see.... Do you think getting a lawyer with me to the interview is a good idea for this reason?

Sometimes mean? ... I would think they are being diligent. If someone is away from US for so long that the 5 month, 6 month, 8 month distinction does not even arise. They are just showing up at the airport to make sure they cut off the 6 month limit from computers. What is mean about checking the reason for their absences and making sure the people really satisfied their obligation to live in US as part of the permanent residence program.
 
Nope, I didnt say that I just showed up at the airport and then went back to cut it, nor I said 6 months or 8 months absences...

Of course you did not say 5, 6, or 8 month absence, but you talked about IOs being mean, and I gave an example of when people call IOs mean.
Actually I have not read a story (yet) of someone returning from airport after getting a stamp. You are taking my words too literally.
