I won H1B lottery in 2020 and got its approval (I-797B received) in another country. Because of the pandemic and company-related issues, I never tried to activate my H1B through visa stamping at a US consulate. Now I have decided to go straight to a full-time Master program in US in Fall 2022.
So my question is simply whether having H1B approved but unactivated will affect my application for an F1 visa?
My understanding is that since I never activated my H1B, it shouldn't affect F1. But if I am wrong, what should I do to make sure I can obtain my F1 visa successfully?
