spouse\'s AP approved - but a problem

Hi all,

My wife\'s advance parole has been approved on 09/18/01
(RD - May 31 01 ND - Aug 22 01 )

But there is a glitch(there\'s always a melodramatic twist with INS)
Here middle name has been misspelt on the AP documents
what should have been "U" has become "V"...,

I don\'t think it is a TYPO because U and V are miles apart on the keyboard.. and intrestingly the AP recpt notice along with all the
other recpt notices(EAD, 485) shows the name rightly spelt..

what is the remedy for this.. please let me know

I don\'t think its a big problem, since U\'r wife\'s photo is attached. Guy at the port of entry can very well figure that out that its a small mistake. U can talk to your lawyer if u still feel uncomfortable.
I wonder if u hear abt your EAD. Even when I have my Parole in my hand, AVM still says that Its still pending. Was it same with you? I\'m asking u this b\'se I wonder if AVM is realiable at all about EAD status.

Ap approved on 9/20.
No change on EAD and my spouce\'s EAD and AP also not yet approved.

Vettiplus, let us know after u receive ur cards.

Our EAD got approved on Sep, 28th.

RD - 30 May, 2001
ND - 21 Aug, 2001

Our AP got approved on Sep, 17th till now i did not receive my AP, is it normal or do i have to call INS and check what happened

AP approval for my husband

AP received for my husband yesterday.....no news about mine.
AVM still saying "mailed receipts on Aug 25th...processing..bla bla"
 
AP Approved - And a Question

Following are the details:

Mail Date: July 26th
RD : July 7
ND : August 31

Approval Date Recd. : Sept. 30th.

The approval notice says that it is valid till Sept. 22nd 2002. Does anyone know if it is possible to get an extension on this date, if we decide to travel after the said date?

I don\'t know why RD is so late:-(

Thanks for the response, jaxen. Would u apply for it maybe 3 months before the current one terminates or can u apply only after it terminates?

EB3, ND August 29, AP Approved September 17, document received today. Waiting for EAD approval
