Question?

In the AP document (approval notice) it says that your 485 will reume after you return back to the country using your AP? does that mean our 485 process is stopped temporarly?

waht if you do not use your AP while returning insted you use your H1.

Please post your views.

How long to get receipt??

I applied three weeks back for 485/EAD/AP. I have not received receipt number yet. Also, filing checks are not posted yet by CIS. do they issue receipt notice once checks get clear from my account?

My original notice said it takes 470-500 days... But this forum said it takes much shorter. I did not know who to believe then. Now I know.
