AP Approval dates

RD: 8/18/03
ND: 8/20/03

Both my wife and my AP are approved on 12/29/03, not received yet.
 
processing time changed to 180-220days

The BCIS onlince case status for my I131 (AP) now says that it is taking 180-220 days for processing these applications. Since one has to submit original AP document when applying for renewal, this means that one can have valid travel document for less than 6 months in a year. They should start issuing AP valid for 2 years.

My husband's AP with RD 08/05 got approved on Dec 27th. Mine is still pending and was filed on 08/17.

faq inquiry for AP

Just Called the attorney. Since it's past the 30 days from the 'processing date' report, attorney is going to send a faq inquiry about my AP. Let us see.

By the way, this is my 2nd AP. My 1st AP came within 3 weeks. This is way too frustrating.

Just checked the online and it says
This case has been approved. On December 30, 2003, an approval notice was mailed. blah blah blah....
 
First AP approved

Both my husband's and mine were approved on 12/29/03. Document made and mailed out on 12/31/03.

Hi friends,

AP (wac03213xxxx) for me and for my wife approved on 29th and today message changed for both of us to-

On January 2, 2004, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

surprisingly my wife received 2nd FP notice to be scheduled at oakland on 5th feb but not for me. I am the primary applicant. Message is not changed yet though.

It's for my son, and RFE is:
Evidence Of Relationship: Submit a registered birth certificate as proof of relationship. If you cannot provide this evidence of eligibility, please explain.

When I applied it for my son by myself, I didn't think a birth certificate was required because any document didn't metion it and CSC should have already known our relationship.
I hate this kind of harassment by USCIS, or relationship of parent and child also expires in 15 months ?

My 3rd AP has been approved on Jan 2nd
as per on-line message. Still waiting for i-485 approval. RFE received by INS on Dec 23rd
as per online message.

How long is it taking to receive AP in mail. My case was approved on 31st Dec and I am planning to go abroad on 10th Jan.
