Hi folks,
I am about to send me I-140 file via NIW. I am filing it myself and have no idea how to submit the documents.

I have about 55 exhibits and put each and every exhibit in separate envelop and labeled it with the exhibit explanation and number. For example

Exhibit 10 : Information concerning Dr. XXXX participation in international conferences
Exhibit 20: Information concerning Dr. XXXX published work

Now, some one told me that the immigration officer wants that each document/exhibit should be hole punched at the top and exhibit number is labeled at the bottom and should be stacked on each other rather in separate envelop.

Any idea about what is the legal/best way to submit I-140 along with exhibits?

Thanks for your help in advance

There are two types of National Interest Waivers. One is for physicians who agree to serve a particular period of time in a particular type of practice in a particular type of setting (designated area or VA) facility.

The "standard" NIW is open to any professional who qualifies.

A physician may apply via either type of NIW but must qualify for it on its particular terms.

Here is case of a physician who applied for the "standard" NIW and was denied.

I have added a tool to help guide you IF you try for the standard NIW.

IF trying for the physician specific NIW. see: http://www.uscis.gov/USCIS/Laws/Memoranda/Static_Files_Memoranda/schneiderintrm012307.pdf

Good Luck,
