Any September I-140 case not be approved?

renge (50000-510000),

all of them are done, most of them between may mid and y'day.

I am really thinking what is the meaning of LUD without status change.

is it because substitution case? donno
 
An RFE has been issued for my case yesterday. I will talk to lawyer day after tomorrow and will update here. Mine is Sep 5, 2003 EB3.

There is might have been already been approved. Check with your Attoeny.If not then there is high chance of RFE on your case. You said substitue labour so I think it might be Edu evaluation RFE.
In case of RFE , status message get changed only after they mail out to us.

thx for reply, I asked my attorny, he did not get anything,I am kind of surprised because if it is a RFE then they hsould have sent the letter by now, LUD is 05/25/2004 it is 21 days now, why would they take 21+ days to send and RFE?

My LUD was 05/26/2004 and later an RFE was issued on 06/07/2004 but updated on 06/08/2004.
 
just spoke with attorny, he is against the idea of status enquiry.

also he says that for i-140 approval they have started doing background check so he thinks they might be doing that in ur case.

also he thinks that in case of RFE they send it to get it type from some one and some times that take more time..

well, 3 weeks? is it not good enough time for all this drama? :(

I am also proud of my luck ( Except that it has a small bug, It never gets going on critical things).

My ND is 7/11, EAD 8/11, 140 update on 10/21, again updated on 6/2. No change after that.

I have changed my job without 140 approval and sent AC21 letter to USCIS on 5/6/2004. It is possible that they have updated my file with the receipt of these papers.

Waiting to see what happens next.

In the meantime, I am applying for 7th year H1 extension thru new employer, on basis of my pending 140.

Did you change to the new company on EAD or H-1? Why do you have to send AC21 to USCIS?
 
You guys are asking about September?? My Company had filed for 3 guys in August'03. 2 of the cases got approved only on June 7th, one is still awaiting the process.No RFE's in any of the cases.All were EB 3's.
 
has any one else also heard what my attorny has said

1. that they have started doing Name check and background check for I-140
also, if yes then how come they haven't done for others who got approved with no change in LUD.

not that I doubt him but, I never heard this before, has any one heard this before?

So far I have all the I140s on that day from 500001-51000

My I-140 LUD changed last wednesday

RD 09/30/2003 EB3

Still pending. no rfe nothing.

My LUD was 06/09/2004. no news after that. :mad:
 
News but not good

Manoj, devadoss, Jk and all guys,

Finally news has come but not that good. In fact I got email that RFE has been issued today on 140 and even website has been updated. Bad news travels fast. I don't know the contents. I am sure Lawyer will get the actual notice in a week. I will post details as I get them.

Here is a recap:

ND: 09/22/03
LUD First : 05/17/04
LUD Second : 06/16/04 RFE issued...

All the best to remainder guys. As someone noted they do take action within one month of "touching".
