LOL well where I work some are married but the young ones are not... thanks God I am married so they dont hit on me....

Thank for all the posts! As far as to why I post here, I am hoping to find someone that would benefit from marrying a 10th generation yankee by making immigration all that much easier.

Have you tried asking/checking out with your illegal land scaper from across the border.
he can't do that, the landscaper won't be able to adjust, so having a 10-th generation yankee hubby won't help the landscaper at all. By the way, it doesn't matter which generation yankee you are as far as the immigration of the spouse is concerned. My hubby is the first generation, and my immigration went pretty smoothly.

oh, and did I mention that marrying someone just for the purpose of making their immigration easier may end in a prison sentence for you, as well as a hefty fine, for immigration fraud?

You took your comments to another level their. Lets be friendly to our Mexican neighbours. Let not point out one country from they other. Remember we are all immigrants here, whether illegal or llegal. Also, I'm not trying to fight with you two, but be aware of how your comments could make others feel. As they are not as lucky to find first generation spouses who would marry them.

You are so wrong, this is why people get so upset over comments like this. Why does your bride have to be foriegn, what is wrong with American women to head strong for you or do you think foriegn women are so gullible that they will want to marry you. Think again, I bet you are one of those guys tha are looking for a yes woman.
If you read between the lines...we have a guy who is willing to wave a carrot stick (his citizenship) in order to help some body. If that truly is his intention, then he needs to be looking at some body who really needs it (like illegals) and not this forum (this is used by 99% legals, i would say). So either he needs to go to a "http://boards.illegalimmigration.com/forums" if one exists or eharmony.com to widen his search internationally.
My take is that he is here to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Get a nice career oriented person who is going to bring in the moolah as well as have access to all other basic "needs" that go with a union called as marriage.
I would also like to point out that:
Across the border does not nessecarily mean Mexico.
Somebody who marries a USC and gets a GC that way, will never understand the effects/effort/pain of rotting in this freakin system for 7 years and the impact it has on their family. So it hurts when some body "cuts thru the line".

I'm with you on being nice. i pay extra every time to my land scaper and try to take care in what ever i can of his children and family in cash or kind.
But Im also aware that I have missed the f@#&in GC boat twice now. First time was in 04/2001 for 245(i) which has till date got a domino ripple effect.
How can one expect me to be nice and lenient towards illegals?
I need to have my house in order first before i can think about some body else's.

1)People who missed the boat in 4/2001 like me...missed it for no fault of theirs.
2)Honestly, I have nothing against Family based process (like you), but my point is, you really need to go thru the bump & grind like us "old timers" to feel the effects. Feel lucky that every thing came to you on a silver platter. You seem to be enjoying this GC journey and are in a vantage position to see/relate to the plights of an illegal vs a legal immigrant. For us "old timers" this journey has become very painful.
