my son is a u.s citizen 12 yrs of age and would like to continue his studies in the u.s with my mother his grandmother. i dont have a visa now, but he wants me to accompany him to the u.s and be his companion for 2 weeks. i have a small call center and a microchip machine sale here in the philippines and im married with 3 kids. im planning to bring him during the u.s embassy interview. what are my chances and can you give me tips? my plan is to acompany him in the u.s for only 2 weeks because i have a lot of work to do here in the philippines. thank you and i will appreciate any of your advise.

may be difficult for you to get a visa as they could very well suspect you of immigrant intent

Apply for a visa and see what the consul thinks of your ties. If you can demonstrate to the consul that you will return back to the Phillipines, a visa will be issued to you.
