AC21...approved..and may be this could be of help to some

Finally...i got my case got approved...came to know today thr' the courtesy copy (online status never changed).

I changed my job after 180 days of 485 and i-140 approval, but never informed BCIS. May be I would be asked during stamping (hope not)...but despite my H1-B been revoked by previous employer, and my case file being closed by my previous employers attorneys (what ever that meant...this is what they said, when i refused to hire them on my own)...things at VSC atleast seem to be moving smoothly...

I have few questions, you mentioned in your post that you didn't inform CIS, so I am thinking probably you qualified for AC21 but you didn't use AC21. Is this true?
If so, then who got the original approval letter?
How much time did it take to get the courtsey copy?

yes he didnot get USE AC21. The lawyer who filed the I485 must have gotten the original approval letter..

And his GC or I-485 is approved for Orignal employer whose job offer letter was the base for I-485 approval as he did not sent new employer letter to use AC21 before I-485 approval.

Does this mean that he would need to rejoin old firm or would a letter from them indicating they still are interested in hiring him will do. I ask this as I am switching jobs coming monday with 485 pending. I too intend to wait for at least first pay stub or a couple (which would be a month's wait) before I send in the AC21 docs. What would your advice be.

---- better send the AC21 letter BEFORE I-485 gets approved without pay stub, if they need pay stub they will ask for it

What does happen if by the time I get the paperwork ready and send it the 485 has been approved.

One reason hopefully that may not happen is because I just got an RFE on my AP application so I am going to hold off on replying to the RFE until I get the AC21 packet ready.

----------- better send AC21 ASAP, it is just one letter from new employer and takes 15 minute to type and get it singed by employer , attach copy of pending I-485 and send the envelope by Fedex or certified return reciept to correct address of USCIS
