Furthermore, as people who have been following the process for some years, we are also aware of how KCC and DoS have been progressively getting better and better at being able to disqualify entries that need to be. Largely thanks to the move to an online system and software development, they are so much better at this than they used to be.

And what do I have to gain by hating you? I don't know you from jack! I'm too busy helping selectees process their selection than to spend a second of my time hating on those who didn't get selected. I don't have the time for that crap.

I'm already helping you by telling you to move on with your lives - you have no right that has been violated. If you know of a specific fraudulent case, use the avenue put in place by the US government to report such cases. Stop being bitter towards those who got selected. I'm sorry I don't know how to sugar coat things, I believe in being up front in my posts.

If you're so sure you have rights that have been violated then you'll find it easy to find laywers to take your case on a contingency basis.

Hehe am with you on this mama , he wants to defend his rights with the americans playing a lotterybut can you defend your rights at your home country? I doubt that

If you have any opinion please support with your arguments, you guys are not in a position to make a decision.
 
@new immigrant decided it was a good idea to spam my in box with rude messages which he didn't want other forum members to be aware of, this has earned him a ban from the forum.

If he returns as a new user with the same attitude, he will subjected to another ban.
 
Unbelievable the attitude of some people!! I sometimes wonder how they would fit into another country with this entitlement mentality (as in: "you have every rights in every country" - :eek:)

Doesn't change the fact that you have no RIGHT in terms of DV as you think you do. When challenged to act on these rights you seem so sure of you find reasons not to ... just a troublemaker.

You know what? Even if you are selected you have no RIGHT to an interview much less having a RIGHT to a visa. No idea what rights as someone who didn't get selected you actually think you have. By the way...do you know that they always select more than needed each year because they know some people won't process and others will be disqualified? And that they have a second draw if necessary? Your non existent rights haven't been violated even on your own argument. But, you'll probably have been banned again by the time I post this.... lol
 
It was weird how he jumped into this thread started by someone else (I assume) and essentially took ownership of the topic, using multiple forum member profiles.

Some people get really angry about stuff. Some of it I can understand, like if you're just a regular person trying to live a normal life in Venezuela or Iraq. Not winning a lottery, not so much.

Rights rights rights,...all you have in mouth is the word "rights". Immigration is a privilege, not a right. Please check the definition of "right". I've been participiating in DV for 12 straight years,...each time the result came up with "HAS NOT BEEN SELECTED". No big deal, I didn't whine like a baby,... I went on with my life like any normal person would do. This time I've been selected,...no big deal either. I'll go on with my current life,....if they give me the visa, perfect, a new start a new adventure...if they don't, it's not the end of teh world, i'll keep doing the same stuff i've been doing till now. Think about when you buy a lottery ticket,....you don't tie your future with the possibility of you winning the big prize. well, the Diversity Visa is just ....., a lottery. Forget about this lottery stuff and go back to your real life...and if you're really that desperate to emigrate to the US, check some more realistically reliable options,...like Student Visa, H1 or J1 visas.
 
@new immigrant: Wow. You're such a sore loser. If your friend won with last years photo, Pray that he gets his visa and pray it doesn't get denied. I'm honestly astounded that a grown up adult would think the way you do.

I have had these same two guys trying to stir things up on my blog. They just don't listen to logic - just keep repeating the same thing (like it was the first time we ever saw the rules). Sheesh.

The FAQ20 is about technical specs, not old photos. Stop confusing issues to cause trouble.

if your photo(s) did not meet the specifications, the e-dv website will not accept your entry , so you will not receive a confirmation notice.(faq 20)

they selected and the result was influenced by it. It's not fair for us.

I think they should re drawn the lottery, because they are government not a company.
But they should pay to winners for this fault too because government did this and government is responsible for it.

my english is not good enough if i wrote something wrong sorry.
