7th Extension - Immigration Intention !!

Hi,
I am about to seek 7th year extension with my company my I140 might be approved by the time i seek this. so i might get a 3 year extension. The question i have is that if i go for H1 stamping / or for that matter if i get the H1 stamped and come back to US won't the very fact that i have asked for an extension mean that i have immigration intent. as the only way i guess someone can ask for an extension is if they have applied for a labor certification or I140 both of which are necessary only if someone intends to file for a green card.
how does one explain a non immigration intent and an extension at the same time ?

I'm not clear about your question. Unlike B, F, J visa, H1 is dual intent visa which allows immigrantion intent. Does it answer your question ?

hi are u sure h1 is a dual intent visa i thought it came under the category of non immigrant visa

F1 is non-immigration visa,but single intent study and get out of US after study.

H1 also a non immigration visa, but you can have a intension of getting your GC through LC process.
