You should File WOM demanding USCIS to finalize your application. .
Unfortunately in OP's case it might just end up in a denial due to lack of continuous residency during process.

i should file WOM, the others are thinking that it is going to be a waste of money. Will it be worth the trial?
What is the filing fee for WOM?
It depends by state. Expect to spend at least $300 if filing yourself.
Read the sticky on the process.

Very constructive and informative guys, thank you, i wish i contacted you earlier; it seems that it is very late now, i screwed up. To recap some of you guys believe that i should file WOM, the others are thinking that it is going to be a waste of money. Will it be worth the trial? I don't know but I’m going for it, at least i won`t cross my hand and stay still, depressed about the whole situation. I called Rajiv`s office but it seems that they are no longer doing it or that they cannot do it here in NC. So if any of you knows somebody that would fight for a case like mine, please advice (anis.g@excite.com), hope it is not inappropriate asking for it in this forum.
Thank you again guys.
