THE MONEY FOR IMMIGRATION PROCESSING BUDGET IS UNFAIR
A $500 mil. budget is announced to improve immigartion processing for next 5 years.
This is a joke.
H1-Bs alone are paying 10 billion dollars in federal tax(assuming 500,000 H1-Bs , each paying $20000 in
taxes per year on an average)
Over teh five years this is 50 billion
(Roughly).
Considering this much contribution to government, we are not getting fare share of very important issue for
us -- more money for faster application processing. Comments?

CSC IIO told me they are working on May 3rd week mail. Also said they replaced their mail room contractors two weeks back and catching up. AOS Fedexed on 22nd May 2001.

History has proved often that Weaker will perish.
H1Bs are putting in 50 billions and get almost nothing in fair treatment from INS.
illegal immigrants from "various" countries get better treatment and better protection for the want of votes.
We have to have a strong lobby. Immigrant Support Network created good movement and got success.
We need to have continuous pressure.
Without pressure and survelence government officers start working on different muscles all together as we have read in the papers.
Slavery has changed it\'s forms. First men were enslaved for their muscle power, then for muscle and hard work and some brain during rail road time and now for brain work in Information Technology.
Can someone imagine that community which is putting 50 billion dollars in the economy is getting such a treatment from the government /INS as if they are the slaves.
Start writing to INS and senators. Without united action, slaves will continue to be exploited. With unity, we will be free in the so called "free world."
